The upcoming docuseries will offer a definitive look at the life and legacy of Curtis Jackson.
As per Deadline, the untitled project will comprehensively trace 50 Cent’s evolution from his early days growing up in South Jamaica, Queens, to his status as a globally renowned music and business titan. The narrative will cover his survival after being shot nine times in 2000, his explosive 2003 debut album Get Rich or Die Tryin’, and his highly successful pivot into television and film. Through an intimate lens, the series aims to portray how the rapper transformed conflict and adversity into enduring cultural impact.
Directed by Mandon Lovett, the project is being produced by The Intellectual Property Corporation (IPC) alongside 50 Cent’s own G-Unit Film & Television. Patrick Altema will serve as the showrunner and will executive produce the series alongside Jackson.
