Tom Hyndman, recognized for his work on Harley Quinn, serves as showrunner and writer. The narrative utilizes Usopp as an “unreliable narrator,” framing the retelling of Seasons 1 and 2 as exaggerated tales shared with the crew’s newest recruit, Tony Tony Chopper. This format allows the production to condense major story arcs from the East Blue and Grand Line into a family-friendly, high-stakes comedy.
Beyond the screen, the collaboration includes a major physical component with six new LEGO One Piece sets inspired by Season 2.
