Produced on a modest $30 million USD budget, the sixth installment generated $55 million USD domestically from 3,490 locations, eclipsing the previous franchise domestic record of $49.7 million USD set by Scary Movie 4 in 2006. Internationally, the film added $50.5 million USD across 53 markets, representing a staggering 75% increase over the franchise’s prior international best.
