Aston Martin has introduced the Vanquish 25 to celebrate a quarter-century since the iconic V12 grand tourer first appeared. Dubbed the Vanquish 25, the commemorative release pays homage to the original 2001 flagship designed by Ian Callum. The bespoke Q by Aston Martin commissioning service handled the entire creation process, capping the new model at an incredibly strict 50 units globally. Production is split perfectly down the middle, yielding 25 Coupe and 25 Volante examples. Rather than engineering a stripped-out track weapon, the manufacturer opted for a masterclass in subtle elegance and refined heritage.
The exterior styling presents a sophisticated nod to the early millennium flagship. Every single car leaves the factory coated in an exclusive Q Skye Silver paint finish. Metal foil detailing traces the side sills and shield vanes to add a distinct layer of visual depth. Unique stainless steel side strakes and a custom Q Commission exhaust finisher further elevate the rear profile. A set of exclusive 21-inch forged alloy wheels manages the stance while featuring a subtle diamond-turned V motif that anchors the anniversary theme.
Inside the cabin, the bespoke treatment continues with an emphasis on heritage craftsmanship. The interior pairs premium Semi-Aniline leather with soft Alcantara upholstery arranged in a diamond quilting pattern that directly references the 2001 original. Laser-etched trim inlays blend past and present styling cues flawlessly. At the center of the console sits a specially commissioned rotary start-stop button finished in satin silver with a vibrant red center. Buyers can configure the space in three distinct colorways including Onyx Black, Oxford Tan or Phantom Grey while subtle embroidery on the seats reminds occupants of the vehicle’s rarity.
Performance remains utterly staggering beneath the hood. Without any artificial restrictions, the celebratory model retains the modern 5.2-liter twin-turbo V12 engine. Engineers ensured the updated powertrain delivers a massive 823 horsepower and 738 lb-ft of torque straight to the rear wheels. This allows the heavy grand tourer to sprint from zero to 62 mph in a blistering 3.3 seconds before topping out at 214 mph. Aston Martin slated the Vanquish 25 for its formal public unveiling at Monterey Car Week in California this August. First deliveries are projected to reach highly vetted clients by the fourth quarter of the year.
