Phoebe Bridgers has announced a global series of immersive planetarium listening events for her upcoming album ‘Lost Weekend’
Produced in partnership with Spotify and Dead Oceans the five-day experience features custom laser and night-sky visual presentations
The album officially releases on August 13 alongside midnight listening parties in more than 300 cities worldwide
Phoebe Bridgers has officially announced a global series of planetarium listening sessions to preview her upcoming album, Lost Weekend. The five-day rollout is produced in partnership with Spotify and her record label, Dead Oceans, offering fans an immersive audiovisual premiere ahead of the project’s official arrival.
Taking place across 25 North American cities and nine international locations from August 10 through August 15, the experience will feature two distinct visual presentations. One version showcases a custom light show designed by Laser Fantasy, while the other offers a non-CGI night-sky visual program created by photographer Babak Tafreshi, filmed across nearly 20 countries. To prevent leaks prior to the album’s release, all attending fans will be required to secure their mobile devices in Yondr pouches during the showings.
The upcoming LP marks Bridgers’ first solo album since 2020, following her joint work and tour with Boygenius. In addition to the planetarium screenings, fans can attend local midnight listening parties taking place in more than 300 cities on August 13.
Lost Weekend officially releases on August 13, with planetarium listening experiences taking place from August 10 through August 15.
