Eva and Jack Peng are from rural China. They were part of the massive wave of immigration to Canada during the eighties and nineties. The Pengs never take a day off, even on the one day that they’re closed you’ll find them at the shop prepping for the week ahead. After graduating from university, their daughter Anna told them she wanted to come back to the restaurant to work with them. They weren’t thrilled with the idea, but eventually she won them over.
