
Bo Lueders, co-founding guitarist of Harm’s Way as well as co-host of the hardcore podcast HardLore, has died by suicide. He was 38 years old.
The band and podcast both shared a post with the following statement:
It is with heavy, broken hearts that we share that our beloved Bo Lueders has passed away.
He will be remembered for his unwavering empathy and compassion for his friends & family and his magnetic, inimitable presence on & off the stage.
We kindly ask for grace and privacy as we navigate this extremely difficult time.

Lueders co-founded Harm’s Way in 2006. As a group, they combine hardcore, death metal, and industrial music, releasing five studio albums and five EPs.
He also co-founded the hardcore music interview podcast HardLore in 2022 alongside Colin Young, vocalist of the band Twitching Tongues. With Young, Lueders interviewed multiple stalwarts of the hardcore scene, including Brett Gurewitz of Bad Religion, Davey Havok of AFI, Craig Ahead of Sick of It All, and Claudio Sanchez of Coheed and Cambria.
