Source: Neil Mockford / Getty Has anyone seen Is Kanye West?  A couple of disgruntled Sunday Service employees want to settle a stack of overdue invoices after working for the rapper last year. Apparently, staff that worked on a live performance for the musical live production of “Kanye West Nebuchadnezzar Opera” claimed they were never paid for their work, so they’re suing the rapper and Live Nation via a class-action lawsuit for a cool $1 million. The Blast reports that a hair assistant claims she is owed “unpaid wages, continuing wages, damages, civil penalties, statutory penalties and attorney’s fees and costs.” Her day rate was paid late and the production team, consisting of background actors, performing as audience members also faced charges with their delinquent checks. &...

Britney Spears ‘Will Not Perform Again’ If Father Controls Career

The pop star has been on an indefinite work hiatus since early 2019. James Spears’ attorney, Vivian Lee Thoreen, defended what she said was his perfect record in his run as her conservator, which has seen her net worth go from in debt to well over $60 million. Thoreen argued that the disruption caused by his removal would do her the very harm the suspension is meant to prevent. “I don’t believe there is a shred of evidence to support my client’s suspension,” she said. Thoreen also objected to Ingham’s statements about the father-daughter relationship as inadmissible hearsay. The judge did approve that a corporate fiduciary, the Bessemer Trust, will now serve as co-conservator over her estate along with her father, which Britney Spears had requested. Most of the attorneys involved, along wi...

I don’t even understand how you’re real,” meant in the best possible way. Kelly Clarkson loved Cooper’s control. Blake Shelton praised the strength of her voice. But Holiday, he explained, “you’re a force on this show. You have a gift.” John Legend had a tough call to make. “Both of you knocked it out of the park,” he insisted. But Holiday was “otherworldly.” And he got the nod. It didn’t end there. Cooper was just too good to let go. She got the save. Watch it all unfold below. Epitaph – PYRAMAZE

RATING: 8/10 Increasingly regarded as leading lights in a still-flourishing prog metal world, PYRAMAZE haven’t taken the easiest route to prominence, with persistent line-up issues seeming to slow their well-deserved ascent. By this point, no such problems exist. The arrival of vocalist Terje Harøy for 2015’s “Disciples Of The Sun” seemed to lift every aspect of the Danes’ sound, sharpening their songwriting and dragging their overall sound cheerfully into a more adventurous future. This is, after all, a prog metal world that encompasses everything from DREAM THEATER to TESSERACT. If “Epitaph” proves anything, it’s that there remains a lot of room to maneuver within a genre that has often been artistically reductive. Not that PYRAMAZE have fo...

Asked if his his decision to expand the Ellefson “brand” was “a reaction to the fallout” that he and MEGADETH leader Dave Mustaine had years ago when the bassist left the band for a little under a decade, Ellefson said: “One hundred percent. Honestly, as the saying goes, ‘Fool me once, shame on you; fool me twice, shame on me.’ So if I got caught with my pants down a second time, I’ve got no one to blame but me. And not that I was...
