Cardi B Claps Back At Racists Who Claim She Is Devaluing Birkin Bags

Source: Bernard Smalls / @PhotosByBeanz Cardi B is no stranger to criticism but this time the allegations have a very bigoted undertone. She is now accused of sending a legacy luxury brand’s identity to the gutter. As spotted on Page Six the Bronx Bombshell is addressing some hate that continues to brew regarding her taste for the finer things. Earlier this week her husband Offset splurged on his lady in a major way at a Los Angeles Hermès store. He picked out four of their signature Birkin purses which came to the tune of a whopping $128,000 dollars. The gesture left some folks in their feelings saying that the purchase was too extravagant since they only walked away with four pieces. But for those not in the know the “Bodak Yellow” MC has been collecting these pricey totes since she...

Neil Young’s Older Brother Releases First-Ever Song at Age 78

Apparently, music is in the Young family’s genes. Neil Young’s older brother Bob dropped his first-ever single, “Hey America” with the Peterboroughs, at the age of 78. (Neil is four years, er, younger.) The tune, out on Shakey Pictures Records, features Neil Young on harmonica. “The filming of ‘Hey America’ was done in the Covid 19 environment,” Neil Young said in a statement. “One shot where we’re all standing together, singing without masks was done in three separate shoots with the same background and assembled in post-production to look like three people singing together. Stay safe,” the younger Young added. The shaggy folk anthem, which sounds like Homegrown-era Neil Young, was an inspired creation. “I didn’t set out to become a songwriter and singer at 78 years of age,” Bob Youn...

Foo Fighters Brew a ‘Fresh Pot’ of Fun in Caffeinated Commercial Spoof

In a spoof that mimics commercials for nebulous drugs that treat unnamed issues, Dave Grohl reflects on a decade-old coffee addiction used to impair “solid bowel movements” leave him with “noxious coffee breath.” In his (excellent) version of a serious/sad TV voiceover, Grohl laments, “I found myself doing anything for the fix. My roast grew darker and darker until I finally hit pot bottom. I couldn’t be there for the ones I love when they needed me the most.” But wait, there’s a cure! TV-ad-Grohl perks up when he shills for “Fresh Potix.” But, as with all “those” drugs, it seems the side effects may be worse than the disease, just ask his Foo Fighters bandmates. A woman’s voice soothingly advises to “consult your doctor” should you experience any of the following side effects: “severe mon...

Bebe Rexha Gets ‘Quizzed’ by ‘Clueless’ Star Alicia Silverstone — Then Turns the Tables

After nailing the True or False round of “Quizzed” with lightning speed, the singer-songwriter declares, “I’m a professional at Clueless facts!” The General Trivia round — which included questions about Cher’s cause for the school charity drive, the song Elton (Jeremy Sisto) sang with Tai (Brittany Murphy), and more — didn’t go much differently. That leads Silverstone to ponder: “If I didn’t have these answers, I’m really curious if I would know these answers. … I’m just wondering if you were given the cheat sheet before this!” During the round, Rexha admits that revisiting the film as an adult brought new understanding to some of the lines and props. “Watching the movie growing up, I didn’...

Raise your hand if you saw this one coming. The song was released 39 years ago this past Monday. The song was produced by Dave Sitek, and features guitars from Nick Zinner, Imaad Wasif and Johnny Hanson and backing vocals from Priscilla Ahn. In a statement, O outlines how the duet came to fruition, crediting none other than Johnny Knoxville for the introduction. “I recalled my buddy Johnny Knoxville being friends with Willie so I asked to see if he could check in with Willie about it, and then out of sheer audacity I added ‘and if he ever wants to do a duet I’m ready and willing!’” O sai...

South Park Creators Launch Deepfake Web Series Sassy Justice: Watch

South Park returned earlier this month with the hour-long “Pandemic Special”, though there’s still no word on when Season 24 will properly begin. In the meantime, creators Matt Stone and Trey Parker have teamed with British comedian great Peter Serafinowicz (Amazon’s The Tick, Guardians of the Galaxy) for a new deepfake web series called Sassy Justice. The show is presented as a local Cheyenne, Wyoming news program hosted by American Consumer Advocate Fred Sassy, himself a deepfake of Donald Trump. (The name “Fred Sassy” has to be a play on Trump’s dad, right?) A description of the first episode promises Sass will go “to battle for the common man in his hometown.” First, he’s exposing the dangers of deepfakes — the technological trick of mapping a person’s face on a different person’s body...

Alice Cooper Launches His Own Horror-Themed Party Game

When he’s not satirically running for president, the legendary Alice Cooper usually has his hands in a variety of multimedia projects, from his long-running syndicated radio show to inspirational music videos. The shock rocker’s latest endeavor is just in time for Halloween: a horror-themed party game called HorrorBox. The Cards Against Humanity-style game was written by Cooper and a host of other horror fanatics. It takes the basic CAH concept of pairing setup and answer phrases from different cards to create absurd statements. For example: “‘The tenth circle of hell is for’ … ‘setting up my haunted house as an Airbnb.’” There are also dare cards mixed in with the question cards, prompting players to engage in a spooky action. Cooper’s version of the addictive game is geared specifi...
