Just this month, Miller added another notch to his portfolio’s already supersized belt— directing the visual companion for Candy 2, the long-anticipated 36-minute beat tape released by Louis the Child on October 2nd, 2020. Composed of sweeping landscapes, psychedelic color i...

Arlo Parks hasn’t enjoyed lockdown any more than the rest of us. But the 20-year-old, London-based singer/songwriter and self-described “social creature” has ridden out the year with help from the kind of oddly specific activities that populate her emotive songs. Recently it’s been photographing brightly colored flowers that has been keeping her busy. (She laughs, remembering how she asked that a recent press photoshoot be held at South London’s Rookery Gardens just so she could sneak in a few shots on her phone). There’s also been endless cups of tea drank alone, journaling, and reading list that has her tearing through David Lynch’s Catching the Big Fish, Pale Fire by Vladimir Nabokov, and Joan Didion’s essay collection, Slouching Towards Bethlehem. Overall, she’d call herself happ...
Mother Lynn Spears said her youngest came into the world “unexpectedly, yet so adored by all the moment she arrived,” describing how Jamie Lynn said yes to everything social as a kid, from basketball to softball, cheerleading and gymnastics. She did it all while watching older sister Britney become the biggest pop star in the world, focusing in on acting to differentiate herself from her famous sibling. “I’m sure subconsciously, there was maybe some form of that,” Jamie Lynn said of taking a different path than Britney. “But for me, I loved making up characters.” After getting her first acting job at 9, Jamie Lynn said she wasn’t thinking about a long-term career plan, figuring she could try the pop thing later on. And she did try, recalling a meeting with a f...

Source: Kevin Winter / Getty Taraji P. Henson and Kelvin Hayden were set to be wed this past summer, but it appears the big event won’t be happening at all. In a recent interview, the Empire star says she called off the wedding after attempting to work things out with her former fiancee. Sitting with The Breakfast Club, Henson, ever more stunning at 50 as evidenced by her birthday photos, shared with the hosts that she tried to salvage the relationship but it didn’t work out as planned. Hayden, a former NFL cornerback who got engaged to Henson in 2018, was notably absent from the Washington Metro Area native’s recent social media celebrations and confirmed the split in her typically candid fashion. “I’m dedicated to the black man, ya’ll.
