Source: AGUSTIN PAULLIER / Getty Looks like CNN’s Chris Cuomo has had enough of Donald Trump’s “bullsh*t!” thanks to his endorsement of Goya products from the Oval Office. Things began last week when a boycott of Goya products began after it’s CEO, Robert Unanue, went to the White House and praised the Racist-In-Chief and called Americans “blessed” for having a “leader like Donald Trump” leading the country straight into a divider. In an effort to further troll his left-wing haters and “own the libs,” Donald Trump took a picture of himself in the Oval office with some Goya products sitting on the Resolute Desk that he probably sent one of the White House gardeners to go fetch. That seemed to be the breaking point for Chris Cuomo as the Coronavirus pandemic continues to rage out of control ...

In that same breath, he also called for ViacomCBS to give him full ownership of his billion-dollar Wild ‘N Out brand he claims he was finessed out of. In his newest apology, Cannon takes full responsibility for the anti-Semitic comments that were dropped on his Cannon Class series. “First and foremost, I extend my deepest and most sincere apologies to my Jewish sisters and brothers for the hurtful and divisive words that came out of my mouth during ...
Source: The Washington Post / Getty Kanye West hasn’t decided to drop out of the 2020 Presidential Race after all. According to TMZ, Kanye West has indeed continued with his presidential run by officially registering as a candidate. On Thursday (Jul 16), Yeezy completed the first round of paperwork with the Federal Election Commission. Filing out the State of Candidacy form, Kanye reveals that he met the minimum requirement of raising at least $5000 in campaign-related expenses, which allowed him to officially add his name to the ballot under the federal campaign law. The latest filings mark the second set of forms necessary for West to be added to the national ballot. The Replacements’ fifth album, Pleased to Meet Me, is getting a pretty big reissue, which follows the alt-rock pioneers’ Don’t Tell A Soul box set (which was titled Dead Man’s Pop) that was released last year. On top of a remastered edition of the 1987 album, the collection will feature 29 previously unreleased songs including 15 demos the band recorded at Minneapolis’ Blackberry Way Studios in 1986. Seven of those songs would prove to be Bob Stinson’s final recordings with the band. Of those unreleased tracks, there are also 13 rough mixes, a Jimmy Iovine remix of “Can’t Hardly Wait,” B-sides, outtakes and alternate versions. There’s also a 12×12 hardcover book with rare photos and new liner notes. The Pleased to Meet Me box will be released on Rhino Records on Oc...
Prince’s estate has just dropped the original version of “I Could Never Take the Place of Your Man,” from 1979. The minimal-sounding demo is part of the the ridiculously stacked reissue of Prince’s 1987 double LP, Sign O’ the Times, which is set to drop on Sept. 25. Recorded at Hollywood Sound Recorders, Studio A on May 23, 1979, this cut of “I Could Never Take the Place of Your Man” was done while Prince was recording his self-titled EP that dropped that same year. The tune was then shelved for some time until it was taken out of the vault and rerecorded in June 1986 and became part of Sign O’ the Times. Since it was recorded in the late ’70s, “I Could Never Take the Place of Your Man” is the reissue’s oldest recording. The estate also shared the original handwritten lyrics for the song, ...
I’ve smelled a lot of things at gigs before but fresh-cut pastrami was a new one. Back in March, Haim performed what would be one of their last shows of the year to a crowd drunk on coleslaw and corned beef on rye. Squeezed between the back tables and bathroom of Sarge’s Deli in New York City, they covered Britney Spears’ “I’m Not a Girl, Not Yet a Woman,” between their own hits like “Summer Girl” and “The Wire” to a bustling crowd of guests — fans, media, record label employees and Glee’s Darren Criss. The trio, who had their first musical performance as kids at Canter’s Deli in Los Angeles’ Fairfax neighborhood, paid homage to their beginnings with a five-city deli tour ahead of their striking, self-aware third album Women in Music Pt. III. At Sarge’s, Este Haim recalled her love f...
Elliott Smith’s self-titled debut album will be reissued for its 25th anniversary in August. And with it, comes not only a remastered version and a previously unreleased live album, but an imaginative cover from Portland’s MAITA. The DIY-inspired act, which dropped their debut album in April, has a soothing sound that mirrors that of Smith, and gives the track some additional punchy harmonies toward the end. With Maria Maita-Keppeler on vocals, MAITA gives fans of Smith — who lived in Portland for much of his life — something to be proud of. “Elliott Smith’s music has been a part of both [guitarist] Matthew [Zeltzer]’s and my life for years — our connection to Elliott’s music was one of the first musical commonalities we found, and continues to be a touchstone,” she says of the releas...
In December 2010, Simon Cowell’s latest boy band endeavor said goodbye to the U.K. The X Factor’s audience had voted the five-piece vocal group into the final three acts on the show’s seventh season, but failed to bring in the numbers that would carry them across the finish line, as singer-songwriter Matt Cardle was ultimately crowned champion. But the group was determined that their elimination wouldn’t mark the end of their story. “We’re definitely going to stay together,” Zayn Malik said. “This isn’t the last of One Direction.” Malik, Harry Styles, Niall Horan, Louis Tomlinson and Liam Payne, all 16-18 at the time, had each arrived at the popular singing competition’s auditions as solo artists earlier that year, hoping to make it individually. After making it through auditions sol...
