The brand is releasing a pool table. As spotted on Hype Beast the French fashion house is extending their opulent approach to home leisure pieces. The newest addition to their Art of Gaming collection is a plush billiards table. The set, as shown here, features a premium red felt cloth top. As expected the signature LV monogram scheme lives throughout the body. Additionally a fine tan colored leather, made from cowhide, is hand stitched to the pocket linings. Lastly the balls feature LV’s iconic flower motif and the cue sticks also feature branding on the handles. Source: LOUIS VUITTON / Louis Vuitton Originally teas...
RATING: 8/10 The mistake a lot of media folk continually make about heavy metal is the assumption that most metalheads have any real desire for the genre to change. Sure, we can all cope with a few hundred nebulous subgenres and nobody will complain if someone conjures a brand new form of metal that elicits the same electrifying feeling as “The Trooper” or “Angel of Death”, but if all we get from now until the end of time (could be soon, folks, don’t make any major plans!) is excellent examples of the heavy metal we already know and love, would that really be a problem? Not for me. Just for the record. WOLFTOOTH are a band you can trust to uphold heavy metal values. It’s clear from the band’s name, the album’s title and its splendidly old-sch...

Julianna Barwick has announced a new album called Healing Is a Miracle just in time to help soothe our global anxiety. It’s her first record in four years and is due out on July 10th via Ninja Tune. To celebrate, she’s shared the lead single, “Inspirit”, along with a scenic music video that captures the mood. Healing Is a Miracle was built on improvisation, reflection, and collaboration. In particular, the latter takes shape in the form of some very notable guest features by Jónsi of Sigur Rós, Nosaj Thing, and Mary Lattimore. While this may appear like a departure from her past work, the press release assures that Healing Is a Miracle is a natural evolution from her previous albums, including 2016’s Will and 2013’s Nepenthe. Barwick began drafting ideas for Healing Is a Miracle last sprin...
It’s true that Nine Inch Nails had to cancel their fall tour, but it’s also true that the tour already happened, totally kicked ass, and “every single comment on the internet about it was positive.” No, we’re not having a psychotic break (our hydroxychloroquine hasn’t even kicked in) it’s just that with a new line of tour merch, Trent Reznor is leaning in to the national mood of alternate facts and fake news, while taking another shot at his old enemy, “puking” Ted Cruz. NIN are selling collectibles from their “2020 Black and Cold and Infinite Tour” — which, just to be clear, really did get cancelled. In the last few days a couple of choice items appeared on the Nails’ website, and while the tote bag and wall flag are perfectly fine in their own right, the real action is in the descri...

Only two days after announcing his new collaboration with The Neptunes, deadmau5 unveiled the single today, which marks his first original release of 2020. “Pomegranate,” released via deadmau5’s mau5trap imprint, explores the funkier side of the celebrated electronic producer, who teamed up with the Grammy Award-winning duo (comprised of Pharrell Williams and Chad Hugo) for a pre-summer bop bursting at the steams with foot-tapping nu-disco flair. “Pomegranate” holds all the gravitas of a technically pristine deadmau5 record while brilliantly interweaving the velvety, electro-pop-inspired sonic verve of The Neptunes. “Pomegranate” was recorded back in December 2019 in North Miami’s Criteria Recording Studios during Art Basel, whe...
