First Look at ‘The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim’ Anime Film
Warner Bros. Animation has offered a first look at its upcoming The Lord of the Rings: The War of the Rohirrim anime film. Originally slated for spring 2024, the film is now confirmed for a global theatrical release in Q4 instead.Produced by New Line, the much-anticipated animated adaptation of J.R.R. Tolkien’s revered Lord of the Rings trilogy will be directed by award-winning filmmaker Kenji Kamiyama, who’s known for Blade Runner: Black Lotus and Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex the TV series. The cast has also been revealed with Brian Cox voicing the mighty King of Rohan, Helm Hammerhand. His daughter Héra is portrayed by Gaia Wise, while Luke Pasqualino from Snowpiercer will play Wulf.
