Adam Sandler is set to have a new comedy special at Netflix. This time around, Josh Safdie will be directing the special. In the past, Safdie and Sandler worked on the 2019 film Uncut Gems.The special is currently untitled but it will be his second one on Netflix as a follow up to his 2018 set, 100% Fresh which also scored 90% on Rotten Tomatoes. Not much is known about this special but Sandler's relationship with Netflix continues to grow with each project. He is set to appear in another Netflix film next month, titled Spaceman which sees him take on a more dramatic sci-fi role. Margot Robbie's production company LuckyChap, has officially signed a multi-year, first-look feature film deal with Warner Bros. Her partners in the company include Tom Ackerley and Josey McNamara. Following the huge success of Barbie, which garnered $1.45 billion USD globally and became the highest grossing film of 2023 and the biggest of the studio's 100-year history, Warner Bros. is placing their bet on Robbie and her team.In a previous statement, Warner Bros. During the Super Bowl, 20th Century Fox dropped the official trailer for the upcoming Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes. The latest installment of the legendary franchise is set to arrive in theaters this spring.
