20th Century Studios is set to produce a new standalone Predator film directed by Dan Trachtenberg. The director was previously Emmy nominated in 2022 for his Predator prequel Prey which followed the adventures of Naru, played by Amber Midthunder, who was a skilled warrior of the Comanche Nation who tries to protect her people from a major threat to their camp. The upcoming film in the franchise is expected to be titled Badlands and is slated to set in the future.
