Inside The Weeknd’s After Hours Nightmare Experience at Universal Studios

When you think of haunts (seasonal events held during the fall months based around scaring attendees), you often don’t think of musicians. In the rare cases where you do, perhaps you think of heavy metal or rock artists, as their music can often bring up images of horror in your mind. But horror has influenced all sorts of different genres, from pop with Michael Jackson’s iconic “Thriller” video to rap through the imagery described in songs by Flatbush Zombies and XXXTentacion. Abel Tesfaye, aka The Weeknd, has never kept his love for the genre a secret, but it has taken center stage with the rollout of his blockbuster 2020 album, After Hours. Latest ‘God of War: Ragnarok’ Gameplay Trailer Shows Off Elemental Combat Moves

Shortly after releasing an exclusive look at the game’s new revamped combat mechanics with Game Informer, Sony and Santa Monica Studio have now tapped to release another look at God of War: Ragnarok‘s gameplay, this time focusing on Krato’s elemental moves. Just like the lead combat designers Mihir Sheth and Denny Yeh explained previously, one of the biggest changes to the way the Olympian can take down his foes is to infuse the weapon he’s wielding with either ice or fire. With the Leviathan Axe, Kratos will be able to channel Frost Awaken to make his attacks stronger and slow down enemies, while the Blades of Chaos can channel a fiery Whiplash that’ll set opponents ablaze for some damage over time. There are also updates for both Stonewall Sheild and Dauntless Sheild that gives the ...

The First DLC Expansion for ‘Cyberpunk 2077’ Will Be a Next-Gen Exclusive

Almost two years after its release, Cyberpunk 2077 is finally getting its first proper expansion from CD Projekt Red, but you’re going to have to own a next-gen console or PC to play it. Just like the full game, the new Phantom Liberty DLC is also set in the crime-ridden Night City, where you’ll continue to play as V alongside Keanu Reeves’ Johnny Silverhand in what’s dubbed a spy thriller adventure. More than a year after announcing the game and months of closed beta testing, Gundam Evolution has finally received a release date from Bandai Namco Entertainment. The new team-based FPS title plays very similarly to Blizzard‘s fan-favorite Overwatch, featuring two teams of six Mobile Suits that will try to eliminate each other while capturing objectives. There’ll be timed respawns so you won’t get kicked out immediately after a death, but there’s also a countdown timer for objectives. At launch, there’ll be 12 different Gundam units to choose from, all of which are iconic in their own right, ranging from RX-78-2, Guntank, and GM to Sazabi, Zaku II, Dom Trooper, Turn A Gundam and even Barbatos. As you play through the three current game modes of Point Capture, Domination and Dest...
