Mark Ronson and Miley Cyrus’ “Nothing Breaks Like a Heart” is the type of song that needs a special, work-hardened voice, one that can hit high notes. It’s also the type of song that can go horribly wrong. Kristen Cruz has that special voice, which she showcased in a performance Tuesday night (Sept. 6) on America’s Got Talent. The teen singer has no trouble proving her talent. She’s a TikTok phenom with more than 4.5 million followers and and her clips, many of which capture her singing while mixing drinks, and have notched ...
Lil Nas X turned a small catalog (to date) into a big show as he opened his first-ever concert tour on Tuesday night (Sept. 6) at the Fox Theatre in Detroit. Over 65 minutes, three acts and more than a dozen songs, the Long Live Montero Tour production was designed to dazzle — no surprise, really, to anyone who’s seen the Georgia-born hitmaker’s extravagant performances for awards shows and other events. Explore See latest videos, charts and news See latest videos, charts and news It was designed to be, as he wrote in the Playbill-style program handed out to fans, “a play about me, starring me as me, with music by me…about my journey, what I’ve been through, me being out of breath while performing and my aspirations to continue on my path in life.” Coach creative director Stuart Evers adde...
Method Man took to Instagram Live to clear the air regarding his absence from Nas and Wu-Tang Clan‘s ongoing “NY State of Mind” tour. The rapper frustratingly had to explain that he couldn’t join the tour as he’s currently in the middle of filming a movie and not because of any bad blood between him and anyone else in the Wu-Tang Clan. “I f*cking love Wu-Tang, wish I could have been on that tour with them,” Method Man said. “The booking came at a bad time – I was already booked to do a movie. Only reason why I’m coming back saying this is because of my love for my fans, okay. The real fans. Not the ones that’d jump in your DMs and curse you the f*ck out all call you all kinds of bitches.” He continued to praise his friends on tour and explained that they all have jobs they need to pursue i...
Couples who rave together stay together. Evidence of that was on full display at Excision‘s Bass Canyon festival, where one happy couple tied the knot at a hillside ceremony surrounded by thousands of bassheads. The wedding ceremony, which was documented on TikTok, quickly drew the attention of Bass Canyon attendees who cheered as the bride walked to the altar while her flower boy threw white rose petals by the handful. At the altar, the bride and groom were surrounded by friends donning various flags from the bass music fandom. The ensuing ceremony took place as riddim blared from the Bass Canyon mainstage. And we’d wager this couple wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. Scroll to Continue Recommended Articles Of course, who could also resist the opportunity to se...

Let it be known that Robbie Williams stands with Taylor Swift. The former Take That singer has slammed “twat” Damon Albarn for falsely claiming that Swift “doesn’t write her own songs” back in January. “I think that when people say [other musicians don’t write their own songs], what they’re actually doing is having a wank about themselves,” Williams said in a new feature with NME. “It’s true! You know, it’s like, why don’t you cut the middle man out — just get a few ribs removed and give yourself a nosh, you twat!” The pop star went on: “Because all you’re doing is going, ‘Hey, I’m fucking amazing!’ Nothing good comes from it in any way, other than it’s a sort of dopamine hit for themselves, going, ‘Do you know – I’m a real one.’ OK. Good for you. Fuck off.” Advertisement Related Vide...
[Editor’s note: The following contains spoilers through the Season 4 finale of What We Do in the Shadows, “Sunrise, Sunset.”] Some comedy series premiere in a blaze of glory before eventually losing some of their luster — the joke of the premise wasn’t enough to sustain more than five episodes, or the writing of Season 2 never lived up to the promise of Season 1. Which is why it’s so satisfying to watch the Season 4 finale of What We Do in the Shadows and know that this is a series that’s well on its way to becoming an iconic tentpole for FX. FX isn’t a network known for hasty cancellations, with many of its shows running for as long as the creators want to keep doing them (meaning four seasons for Atlanta, and infinity seasons for It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia). But it was still eye-o...
