Spider-Man: No Way Home returned to the top of the box office for Labor Day Weekend nine months after its release. According to reports, the Sony film earned $6 million USD from 3,935 theaters over the weekend and is expected to close out with $7.6 million USD on Monday. The film’s jump to No. 1 is due to the lack of major releases as summer winds down and the Tom Holland-starring title, which originally premiered last December, was re-released by the studio with a promising 11 minutes of extra footage. This bumps up No Way Home’s total domestic earnings to $812.3 million USD, keeping it as the third-highest grossing movie in North America. Meanwhile, Paramount and Tom Cruise‘s Top Gun: Maverick trails at No. 2 with $5.5 million USD in earnings from the weekend and is projected to close ou...
[Editor’s note: The following contains spoilers for House of the Dragon, Season 1 Episode 3, “Second of His Name.”] Game of Thrones was a show that became famous for the shades of grey to be found in its heroes and villains alike, and so far the prequel series House of the Dragon has shown every indication of following in that proud tradition. Everyone on screen, including dragons, is eligible for this list (though expect the show’s series regulars to be heavily featured as we progress). In “Second of His Name,” we go on arguably the worst family road trip since that Vacation remake where Chris ...
Action Bronson made a surprise in-ring appearance during All Elite Wrestling’s All Out pay-per-view tonight in Chicago. Watch it happen below. In an interview with Pitchfork last year when Bronson’s song debuted on AEW television, Hook and Bronson revealed that the two had trained in the ring together. “I got in the ring with Hook, did a couple moves—it was beautiful,” Bronson said. Both men were cagey about whether or not the rapper was a member of Hook’s former wrestling stable Team Taz. “Hey, listen, I can’t talk about that ...

Detroit rapper Babyface Ray and British rapper Digga D have dropped some new heat in the form of their anticipated collaboration – teaming up for the new track “Goofies.” Known as a UK drill pioneer, D lends his signature chilled-out flow to the song’s glitchy beat – led by Ray’s rap cadence. The song’s theme centers on both artist taking turns lyrically addressing individuals that claim to be “gang” but are actually “goofy” IRL. In part of the song, Ray and D both state, “Ayy, look at who they call gang, n****s goofy than a b***h though.” Further into the song, the fiery duo addresses the issue of hip-hop music needing a change, rhyming: “Still screaming, ‘F**k rap,’ change the country for the hip-hop. A third “child pornography” lawsuit brought against Nirvana by Spencer Elden, who was photographed naked at four months old for the album cover of 1991’s Nevermind, has been dismissed by a US District Judge in Los Angeles. The ruling will prevent Elden from filing a fourth lawsuit, leading lawyers representing Nirvana to claim that the suit has come to a “final conclusion,” though Elden has suggested he will appeal. Elden had sought damages from surviving Nirvana members Dave Grohl and Krist Novoselic, as well as the estate of Kurt Cobain, photographer Kirk Weddle, and multiple record labels. As Reuters reports, Judge Fernando Olguin wrote that Elden’s lawsuit was invalid from the beginning because the statute of limitations had expired after ten years, and “plaint...
