Liam Gallagher Opens Taylor Hawkins Tribute Show in London

Former Oasis frontman Liam Gallagher opened the Taylor Hawkins tribute concert at London’s Wembley Stadium today (Sept. 3) with a rendition of that band’s “Rock ‘n’ Roll Star” and “Live Forever” backed by the surviving members of Foo Fighters. David Bruckner’s New ‘Hellraiser’ Offers First Look at Female Pinhead

David Bruckner has now shared a first look at his upcoming Hellraiser reboot as well as the new female Pinhead. Speaking to Entertainment Weekly, the director reflected on the impact the original Hellraiser from 1987 made on him as a young teenager. “It was so visceral and so impactful,” the filmmaker said. “It was a movie that really really scared me. Just in time for its first anniversary, Brandi Carlile is giving her most recent album In These Silent Days an update: The folk singer will re-record an acoustic version of the album song-by-song, titled In the Canyon Haze. Before it’s out on September 28th, Carlile has offered a preview with the new version of “You and Me on the Rock.” The idea for In the Canyon Haze came about when Carlile was pondering a deluxe edition of Silent Days. Rather than tacking on a few bonus tracks, she figured: Why not make the entire album a bonus?
