With just a little more than a year to go before its theatrical release, the sequel to Denis Villeneuve‘s 2021 hit Dune has finally begun production. The movie announced the start of shooting via its official Twitter account, posting a photo of Dune: Part 2‘s clapper board along with the caption “We’re rolling.” While those who’ve seen the original film will know the fate of many of the characters in part one, Villeneuve has recruited yet another all-star cast to replace the franchise’s outgoing characters including Academy Award winner Christopher Walken, Black Widow star Florence Pugh, Elvis actor Austin Butler, and James Bond‘s Léa Seydoux. Of course, there’ll also be some key players returning, including lead actor and actress Timothée Chalamet and Zendaya, Rebecca ...

In an effort to combat password sharing, Netflix is now allowing users to “buy” an additional household to add to their account. According to new reports, the streaming giant is now testing out a new way to prevent people from sharing passwords in regions including Argentina, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras and the Dominican Republic. If the company detects that you’ve been using Netflix either on a TV or other device in a location outside of your home repeatedly for more than two weeks, the service will prompt you to “buy” an additional household for a set price. HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Prince Williams / Getty Kevin Gates apparently still has no regard for the letters TMI as the “Big Gangsta” rapper sat down with Yung Miami for her Caresha Please podcast and, well—as a wise man named Dave Chappelle once said, “Better not bring yo’ kids.” During the episode, Gates kept it sexually explicit (which is apparently not uncommon for the show) as he talked about his “big long a** tongue” and the various hind parts he’d like to stick it in and offered to show the City Girls podcast post said tongue in private. But the most eyebrow-raising part of the discussion came when Miami asked him if it was true that he had sex with his cousin, which he talked about via Instagram in 2015, according to MadameNoire. Taylor Swift‘s “Blank Space” joined an elite club on Monday (July 18) by surpassing more than three billion views on YouTube. The superstar joins the ranks of less than a dozen other music videos to reach the same massive milestone, including Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee‘s record holder “Despacito,” which boasts more than 7.9 billion views as the most-watched video of all time. Interestingly, Swift’s clever tale of exacting revenge on a rotating door of “Starbucks lovers” is only the third visual by a female artist to blow past the three billion mark, along with Katy Perry‘s 2012 hit “Roar” and its jungle-themed antics and her own visual for fellow 1989-era smash “Shake It Off.” (For all their other YouTube records, like being the most subscribed act on the platform with more than 75 m...
