THE OFFSPRING Guitarist Blasts Parents Who Are Angry About Mask Mandates In School

THE OFFSPRING guitarist Kevin “Noodles” Wasserman has blasted parents who believe masks are harmful to their children and claim that they reinforce an environment of stress and fear. Earlier today (Thursday, January 20), Noodles took to his Twitter to write: “It is Covid that is killing people, not masks. If you think masks are more dangerous than Covid, then you are an idiot. If you are for #UNMASKOURCHILDREN then you are an irresponsible parent and a lousy fellow human.” Because most countries do not vaccinate children under 12, proponents of mask-wearing argue that masks protect the wearer and those around them from COVID-19. Studies have repeatedly shown that in-school spread of COVID-19 can be contained through masking, sanitation and distancing. Earlier this w...

David Bazan has released Havasu, a surprise new album under his Pedro the Lion moniker. Stream it below on Spotify and Apple Music. While creating the 10-track LP — which serves as the follow-up and sequel to 2019’s Phoenix — Bazan found inspiration in the community of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, where he lived for a year as a middle schooler. “It’s this very synthetic, gimmicky place set in this soulful, desolate landscape,” he said in a statement about returning to Lake Havasu City. “An intersection I hadn’t remembered for 30 years would trigger a flood of hidden memories. I was there to soak in it as much as possible.” Advertisement Related Video However, the threads that run through Phoenix, Havasu, and the album that will come next are meant to explore something deeper than simple chil...

HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Michael A. McCoy/CNP/startraksphoto.com / WENN The tenuous fight to pass voting rights legislation came to a crashing halt on Wednesday night (January 19th) as all of the Senate Republicans blocked two attempts to pass it, including a change to filibuster rules in which they were aided by two Democratic Senators.
