For SABLE, fABLE – the first Bon Iver album in almost six years – Justin Vernon seeks to reject not only sadness but the notion that Bon Iver can only make music rooted in sadness. Ken Carson Unleashes ‘More Chaos’ With New Album

Ken Carson dropped off his A Great Chaos followup More Chaos in time for his 25th birthday.The 21-track album has no guest features, but includes production work from F1LTHY, Pi'erre Bourne, Lucian and more. More Chaos was initially announced in late 2023 as the deluxe to A Great Chaos, but Carson decided to repackage it as its a full release. The single "delusional" preceded the album, which arrived with a Gunner Stahl-directed music video.A Great Chaos released in October 2023 and is widely considered as the Opium member's breakout album. London-born saxophonist Nubya Garcia is currently on a wide-ranging tour of the US, but recently found some time in her schedule to stop by the NPR headquarters for a brand-new installment of the popular Tiny Desk series. Accompanied by her longtime bandmates Sam Jones (drummer) and Lyle Barton (keys) as well as a string section, Garcia ran through choice cuts off her recent album Odyssey, all while a stick of her bespoke incense burned in the background. Over the near-23 minute performance, Garcia's band started with "Dawn," their usual opening track, then upped the tempo with "Solstice" before moving into "Clarity" and the title track, "Odyssey."
