Perfetto Drops Old-School Trap Banger “Aladdin 2.0”
Electronic music producer Perfetto has turned back the clock to the SoundCloud-era boom of trap music for “Aladdin 2.0,” an old-school-inspired banger released by way of BrednButter. The track rumbles with exotic synths and brisk percussion before all hell breaks loose in its drops. The first is a signature trap drop, which runs roughshod with pitched vocal chops, thunderous 808s, and classic trap brass. The second, on the other hand, goes double-time with a four-on-the-floor kick drum pattern and raucous alarm sample built for the clubs. The Chainsmokers, ILLENIUM, More Set to Headline Escapade 2021
Earlier this year, the organizers of Ottawa’s renowned Escapade music festival decided that the event’s rescheduled dates in mid-June 2021 were too soon to host a safe event, thus determining a fall postponement would be the best course of action. Initially, the newly slated dates were September 3rd to 5th, offering a three-day experience. However, due to “ongoing changes and COVID restrictions,” Escapade ultimately scrapped its Friday launch and pushed it one day, truncating the fest to just September 4th and 5th. Despite the change, there is still much to celebrate for fans of Escapade thanks to its massive lineup. GUNS N’ ROSES‘ merchandising company has filed a lawsuit to get a judge’s order that it can use to direct federal marshals, and authorize local and state police and agents hired by the company to seize bootleg T-shirts and similar items during the band’s current tour. Global Merchandising filed the complaint in New Jersey three days before the band’s August 5 concert at MetLife Stadium for trademark infringement and unfair competition against various unnamed defendants described in the complaint as “parties who are selling unlicensed and infringing merchandise bearing the trademark, likenesses and logos of the musical group known as GUNS N’ ROSES.” The defendants were, according to the complaint, going to “sell unauthorized merchandise ...
