Constantin's Resident Evil is getting a franchise reboot alongside Barbarian and Weapon filmmaker Zach Cregger as the director. The project, based on Capco's largely popular horror video game, is set to stay at Sony.Cregger is expected to write the script and direct with the help of Shay Hatten as a co-writer.
