Tracy Morgan to Star in New NBC Comedy From Tina Fey and ’30 Rock’ Producers
Tina Fey is back to working with Tracy Morgan in a new NBC comedy series along with other 30 Rock producers like Fey's co-showrunner Robert Carlock and writer Sam Means. Eric Gurian and David Miner are also producing alongside Fey for the new series. According to Variety, Morgan is expected to star "as a disgraced former football player on a mission to rehabilitate his image in a new NBC comedy pilot." The pilot is directed and executive produced by Rhys Thomas and comes from Universal Television and production companies Little Stranger, Bevel Gears and 3 Arts. Should the series get picked up, it will air on NBC. Last year, Morgan announced that he would star in Parmount+'s spinoff of CBS' The Neighborhood, titled Crutch.
