‘Halo’ TV Series Has Been Canceled at Paramount+
Paramount+ has officially canceled the Halo TV series after just two seasons. The producers of the show adaptation for the video game franchise is expected to look for a new home now that it will no longer be a Paramount project. Starring Pablo Schreiber as the Master Chief John-117, the series was heavily based on the popular Xbox franchise of the same name. The artist finds himself in the headlines for a new copyright infringement lawsuit brought onto him by DJ Khalil and three other artists regarding two tracks on the DONDA album.According to the suit filed yesterday by the Artist Revenue Advocates (ARA) on behalf of Khalil, Sam Barsh, Dan Seef and Josh Mease, the four musicians are collectively seeking justice for two songs, "Moon" and "Hurricane," the later which has won a Grammy for Best Melodic Rap Performance in 2022. FX head John Landgraf has addressed the possibility of The Bear returning for a fifth season following its record-breaking 23 Emmy nominations.In an interview with Variety, the chairman explained that Season 5 will be dependent on creator and showrunner Chris Storer.
