Remember when Carrie Bradshaw quipped that, when she was strapped for cash, she used to buy fashion magazines over food because she felt that they “fed her more”? Well, contrary to Bradshaw, nothing comes between this girl and a burrito, but I do understand her sentiment. In 2019, I moved out of London after almost a decade spent in the capital. While there are certainly people, places, and—goes without saying—restaurants that I miss, the thing I miss the most is the fashion—specifically seeing what London girls are wearing. There’s nothing I loved more than, on the weekend, heading to sartorial hotspots to see what the coolest dressers in the capital were wearing. There’s just something so cool about the intrinsic London style that seems to sweep the city. You Deserve to Make Mo...

Although rooted in fashion history, I would argue that now, in 2022, the desire for owning a designer belt has reached a fever pitch. And I’ve noticed one style, in particular, seems to be growing increasingly popular in style circles. Almost out of nowhere, Celine’s Triomphe belt has been catapulted into the sartorial spotlight and keeps following me around on social media—not that I mind one bit. It’s certainly making my feed a chicer place. You Deserve to Make Money Even When you are looking for Dates Online. So we reimagined what a dating should be. It begins with giving you back power. VIP Nordstrom stylist Sandy Koszarek recently shared her favorite 2022 trends. While chatting with us, she also shared that one of the key questions her clients routinely ask her is what shoe trends look best with jeans. So we thought it could be informative to have her offer up some of the combos she suggests—you know, in an effort to potentially inspire your denim and shoe wardrobes. For the most part, Koszarek often recommends footwear silhouettes that are extremely versatile and could be worn with a range of items, blue jeans included. Below you’ll see some of the shoes in question, including of-the-moment boots and a comfortable flats style. Keep scrolling for more, along with visual inspiration from Koszarek. And if you’re in the mood to shop, there are also product re...
One brand we turn to again and again in our search for these pieces is Mango. The Spanish-based brand just seems to have a knack for creating designer-worthy collections that feel luxurious without breaking the bank. What sets it apart is that, while the basis of the designs remain mostly classic, they’re not afraid to experiment with interesting details or premium materials— two of the key factors that make clothes look expensive. A trench like this one might have Frankie Shop-like shoulder pads for example; or you’ll find a wool coat with a couture-like fit for under £200. And while they don’t yet offer petite, it’s good to note the plus-size range is getting more and more impressive, with many styles now being offered up to a size 26/4XL. Keep sc...
Given the fact they spend much of their downtime in exotic climes or on the world’s most pristine beaches, it never fails to amaze us just how well the A-list dress for winter—particularly those who reside in L.A. over New York or London. Recently, we’ve found ourselves becoming increasingly enamoured by the winter-style flair showcased by Hailey Bieber. The model, who tied the knot with Justin Bieber in a gorgeous ceremony back in 2019, has been serving up some of the best cold-weather looks we’ve seen in a while, pipping influencers and other stars to the post with her on-point attire. Striking the perfect balance between high-end and casual, Hailey’s winter wardrobe consists of many of the same pieces. White trainers, camel outerwear, oversized co-ords, cosy cabl...

From the first glimpse of Lipa as a fresh-faced 17-year-old at London Fashion Week to inspiring a Y2K style renaissance, we found 17 fashion moments that have helped to shape Dua Lipa into an international success. Dua Lipa has always been a fashion enthusiast. Before she was a top-selling singer-songwriter, Lipa made her public debut at London Fashion Week in 2013. Her teenage style was a bit rock ‘n’ roll, focusing on leather jackets, leather ankle boots, and chunky, statement necklaces. After signing with Warner Music...
Getting workwear right can be tricky at the best of times, let alone when the temperatures are so icy that all you want to wear is your pyjamas. As the weather gets bleaker, we often find our workwear wardrobes become a little drabber, with dark colours and practical (rather than fun) layering. But there are a number of ways you can look smart when you’re in hibernation mode. We have some tricks for softening corporate tailoring and adding personality to your winter basics, including expensive-looking knitwear and experimenting with bold colours. There are certain businesswomen who always provide inspiring workwear ideas, including Head of Fashion Partnerships at Instagram Eva Chen and Moda Operandi founder Lauren Santo Domingo. When it comes to my hair, I tend to fluctuate between two lengths: just above my shoulder or just above my boobs (both technical terms). Yet there always comes a time with both lengths when I start to feel like I want to either chop it all off and start again or indulge my inner Rapunzel and grow it out super long. Right about now, I’m at the chopping-it-all-off stage—mainly down to the fact that I’m seeing cool, short hairstyles pretty much everywhere I look. Yes, short hair is definitely trending, with some of my favorite celebs and most-followed fashion girls stepping out in freshly cut ‘dos. “Short hairstyles are on-trend at the moment,” confirmed Neil Barton, Goldwell ambassador and owner of Neil Barton Hairdressing. “Other than the bob and the pixi...
Don’t get us wrong. No one gets all dressed up quite like Gigi Hadid. For proof, count the runway appearances. Yet very few things make us happier than spotting the supermodel in a casual mood, dressed in the coolest, most effortless-looking off-duty outfits. Between leggings and Ugg boots, she always manages to make us see wardrobe items that we often overlook in a totally new light. Such was the case on Tuesday when Hadid was photographed in New York City wearing an oversize polo-neck top with slouchy grey trousers and a pair of low-top Converse from the trainer brand’s recent, nearly sold-out collaboration with Moncler. Sure, she’s wearing a glorified groutfit (grey outfit in fashion speak), but that doesn’t make it an...
This week, the Duchess of Cambridge visited the offices of a charity called Shout, which is a text service in the UK that provides mental health support 24/7. Her appearance was to mark the milestone of reaching over one million conversations. How impressive is that? For the occasion, Kate Middleton wore a dress by Derek Lam along with suede boots by Ralph Lauren. Her outfit combo reminds me of Anna Wintour’s (and just about every other fashion editor’s) very specific uniform: a printed midi dress and knee-high heeled boots. Wintour has worn countless variations of this combination, switching up details like sleeves, prints, and boot styles, though Middleton is no stranger to this formula either. She has chosen it for countless occasions and engagements in the pa...
Going back to my ongoing need for bronzed, glowy skin, it’s also worth knowing that I massively “overapply” my bronzer. While I know that experts would call it overapplication, I think it’s just right. Makeup artists talk about lightly dusting bronzer onto the high points of your face, where the sun would naturally hit, but my approach is much more “swirl the brush around and rub it all over.” Okay, I might be exaggerating a little bit, but I do apply far more than is recommended. Using a big, fluffy brush, I use a matte powder and dust it heavy-handedly into my hairline, down to my temple, under my cheekbones and along my jawline. Oh, and across my nose, too. Basically, the only places on my face not touched with bronzer are the apples of my cheeks. And I’m not entirely sure why I l...
