NPDC to stop gas importation with 500,000 barrels per day production facility – NNPC chief
The Group Managing Director of Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation, Mele Kyari, has disclosed that the Nigerian Petroleum Development Company (NPDC), will soon curb importation of Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG), into the country with the daily production of 500,000 barrel per day, for local consumption. Kyari disclosed this Wednesday during the facilities tour of Oredo Integrated Gas Handling Facility (IGHF) in Ologbo, Ikpoba-Okha local government area ofEdo state. Police nab rape suspect in Sapele after CCTV evidence
The Police in Delta have confirmed the arrest of a 30-year-old man identified as Jomaph who allegedly raped an 11-year-old girl in Sapele town, Sapele LGA of Delta. Management and other officials of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) will undergo coronavirus tests at the federation’s secretariat in Abuja on Thursday, an official said on Wednesday. Ademola Olajire, NFF’s Director of Communications, disclosed in a statement that the federation’s General Secretary, Mohammed Sanusi, announced this on Wednesday. Tension has enveloped the Olabisi Onabanjo University Teaching Hospital (OOUTH), Sagamu, in Ogun State as no fewer than 20 medical laboratory staff of the hospital and another family of four have contracted coronavirus disease (COVID-19).
