Customer racing cars are big business — Ford just released its $1.7M USD GT for the track, if you need any convincing. Now, Mercedes-AMG joins the mix (which includes the likes of Porsche, Ferrari and Pagani) with its GT2, a track-focused example of its much-loved GT model. Coming as a homologated race car that Mercedes-AMG customers can actually buy, this GT2 is best seen as a sort of baby GT3 or GT4 racer. But, don’t mistake it for not being a riot on the ‘ring. Aimed at amateur drivers, the car delivers more power than its more serious racing counterparts because there are fewer regulations restricting the car’s output. As a result, the four-liter twin-turbo V8 delivers 707 HP and up to 800 Nm of torque, which when paired with the sequential six-speed racing gear...
The contemporary Ford GT is one of the most elusive supercars around, and things are about to get even rarer as the American marque has just unveiled its limited-edition track-only 2023 Ford GT Mk IV. With just 67 due to be built in homage to the original 1967 racer, this racing iteration comes with a host of improvements and elements to make it a formidable component on the grid. Starting with the body, we find the GT grows a Long Tail design for better aerodynamics and drag coefficient, of course made from carbon fiber, and an overall growth for the wheelbase that makes the car handle better. Looking smoother all over, we find headlight covers revealing just slithers of LED lighting, a large air-dividing front splitter and front bonnert luvres. Around the side, we find aero discs as rims...
After more than half a century in the skies, the 1,574th and final Boeing 747 left the original Boeing factory in Everett, Washington. Nicknamed the Queen of the Skies, the infamous Boeing 747 was the first “Jumbo Jet” and twin-aisle airliner in the world. Known for making international travel more attainable, the 747 has been flown by U.S. presidents since 1990 with two customized versions in the Air Force One fleet. For Jon Sutter, the grandson of Boeing aircraft designer and “father of the 747” Joe Sutter, it was an emotional occasion. “You think of everything that airplane has done. It’s carried the space shuttle, It’s airlifted a thousand refugees at a time. It’s actually hard to imagine the world without it,” said Sutter. “There’s not much ou...

Following a video of Block driving an entirely bespoke Audi S1 HOONITRON in Las Vegas, the team now heads to Fort Lauderdale, Florida with its custom 862-hp Subaru GL Wagon. With American stunt driver and X Games gold medalist Travis Pastrana at the wheel, the Gymkhana 2022 video may be the wildest one yet as the wagon weaves its way around the coastal city — encountering fighter jets, monster trucks, YouTuber Cleetus McFarland’s 3000-hp Chevy El Camino, and more along the way. Take a look at the full 10-minute video above in which Pastrana does the unimaginable, from 50-50 grinding the car to cross-bridge jumps over a helicopter...
Apple is not quite ready to throw in the towel for its rumored electric vehicle. However, according to Bloomberg, the tech giant is scaling back on its Apple Car production, reportedly no longer fully autonomous for its initial debut. The debut has also been pushed back to 2026. The EV production, codenamed Project Titan, will reportedly feature a conventional wheel and pedals and that the self-driving component will only be available on highways. Apple has yet to reveal any sort of concept rendering for the car. The rumored EV was supposedly set to offer full autonomous driving so passengers can watch videos or even pay gams while on the highway. It was meant to ask the driver to take control when it was time to drive and navigate city streets or through adverse weather. Insiders have not...

Whether driving the three-wheel Polaris Slingshot through the Garden of the Gods or the suburbs to run daily errands — let it be known — you are making a statement. A loud one. Polaris’ 2023 Slingshot model year lineup unleashes an army of neon-painted, three-wheeler autocycles, starting with its base model, the Slingshot S, followed by the Slingshot SL, Slingshot SLR and Slingshot R. The Slingshot’s appeal — aside from its superhero-esque appearance — is its synergy with the elements and proximity to nature: pebbles flying just a few centimeters below the windshield, the scent of passing environments, like the BBQ joint on the corner or the smell of engine smoke, and the exposed road, merely inches away from your body, suddenly an optical illusion at 70 mph. A tight turn in its open-air c...
Rough Crafts has unveiled its latest creation “Cosmos Charger”, a custom bike based on Harley-Davidson’s Street Bob in celebration of the gaming hardware manufacturer, Cooler Master’s 30th anniversary. Unlike Rough Crafts’ usual retro aesthetics, the “Cosmos Charger” was intended to have more of a futuristic and sci-fi edge. The project was headed by Winston Yeh, founder of Rough Crafts, who reimagines a 2020 Street Bob in a boxy armor integrated with purple LED lights to echo Cooler Master’s signature computer cases. Yeh worked with long-term collaborator, SFC Simon Fiber Craft to wrap individual parts in carbon fiber that creates a sleek marbled effect. The iconic purple headlights are supplied by Koso, while CNC aluminum fins grace the middle of the fairing, going over the top of the ta...
A pre-production Lamborghini Urraco has hit the market. The sports car model from the Italian automaker was produced from 1972-1979 with only 791 units made. The surfaced car was made in November of 1972 and is the 19th pre-production model. Appearing in a decadent orange, the sleek design is complemented by silver bumper detailing and a black grated back windshield spoiler. Since 1972, the car has only changed ownership a few times and was stored in a garage for over two decades from 1992. When the car was acquired in 2014, it underwent a restoration prowess to maintain its original integrity – including a rebuilt engine and a new paint job in the original color. The Urraco was sold again in 2016 to a collector who specialized in Italian GT sports cars. Now, the model is up for sale again...
