Apple’s top iPhone and Watch designer Tang Tan will be leaving the company in February. Tan has been enlisted by OpenAI’s Sam Altman and Jony Ive, Apple’s former Chief Design Officer, to join his design firm LoveFrom, according to a report from Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman.At the firm, which Ive launched after leaving Apple in 2019, Tan will be tasked with working on an “AI hardware project,” creating new devices with advanced capabilities.He’ll reportedly be responsible for the look and engineering of the hardware, while Altman will provide the software. Set to hit CES 2024, LG has just announced its latest 4K projector development, the "CineBeam Qube." An early look at the "minimalist" projector shares its lightweight design at just three pounds. A convenient 360-degree rotatable handle also helps with its portability with LG dubbing it "one of the smallest projectors available."The LG CineBeam Qube projects at 4K UHD (3,840 x 2,160) with resolution images that measure up to 120 inches. The RGB laser light source offers a 450,000:1 contrast ratio and 154 percent coverage of the DCI-P3 color gamut.
