Cross Canadian Ragweed to reunite in 2025 for first performance in 15 years

After 15 years away, the seminal country rock band Cross Canadian Ragweed is back.

Adding their name to the long list of bands who’ve announced reunions this year, Cross Canadian Ragweed have confirmed that they will come together once again for a special show at Boone Pickens Stadium in Stillwater, Oklahoma on April 12th, 2025. Joining them on the lineup will be fellow Red Dirt artists Turnpike Troubadours, The Great Divide, Jason Boland and The Stragglers, and Stoney LaRue.

Tickets for the show will first become available via an artist pre-sale opening on October 7th at 10:00 a.m. CT — registration for the pre-sale will be ongoing here through October 5th. After that, the general ticket on sale will open here on October 11th.

Speaking about the reunion, frontman Cody Canada explained, “The thing that sticks out the most to me about Ragweed was all the people that we met. People that I’m still friends with, from Portland, Oregon, to Ybor City, Florida, and from New York to San Diego. That’s why there’s a part of me that never wants to quit doing this. I’m nostalgic for that. I think that everybody should have a little nostalgia in their life.”

Continuing, Canada said, “So, let’s get together, and let’s make sure that we sound really good, and let’s make people smile. Let’s make ourselves smile, and let’s make McClure and Jason and Stoney and the Turnpike boys smile too.”

Cross Canadian Ragweed began teasing the reunion on social media late last month, eventually confirming it on October 1st with a trailer for the April 12th show. Check out the trailer below.
