Harley Davidson Unveils All-New 121-Horsepower Sportster S

Harley Davidson has just unveiled its newest extension to its sports range of motorcycles — the Sportster S. Built off the Revolution Max platform, this new bike takes the performance of the Sportster line up to new heights while paying tribute to the legendary bike.

Starting with the power, this Sportster S packs 121 horsepower and plenty of low-end torque thanks to its 1250T V-Twin engine. The power-to-weight ratio is also optimized as the bike itself weighs just 228kg with a full tank (11.8 liters) of gas. Securing all that power is a stiff chassis with a welded tubular steel trellis swingarm and stamped X-member. While it is great on the straights, the bike can also handle in the corners as it has fully adjustable, SHOWA 43mm inverted cartridge forks and a SHOWA Piggyback reservoir rear shock. Stopping the bike is a Brembo four-piston front caliper with a 320mm disc and a rear two-piston matched with a 260mm disc.

There are also brains to match the brawns in this package as the Sportster S has a number of innovations to assist you on your ride. Tech like USB-C ports, heated grips, cruise control, pre-programmed ride modes (Sport, Road and Rain), a circular 4.0-inch TFT screen, LED lighting, and adjustable brake and clutch hand levers.

“The Sportster S is the next all-new motorcycle built on the Revolution Max platform and sets a new performance standard for the Sportster line,” said Jochen Zeitz, chairman, president and CEO, Harley-Davidson. “This is a next-generation Sportster defined by power, performance, technology and style. And it’s part of our commitment to introduce motorcycles that align with our strategy to increase desirability and to drive the legacy of Harley-Davidson.”

Available in Vivid Black, Stone Washed White Pearl, or Midnight Crimson, the new Harley Davidson Sportster S will be available this Fall starting from $17,999 USD.
