One thing you should know about me is that I’m very self-aware. I’m always happy to admit when I’m wrong or open up about my shopping addiction. One fashion decision I’ve recently made is that I’ll be replacing my black pants with brown trousers. Why, you ask? Well, they look more expensive than black ones, and every chic dresser I see these days is wearing them.

From brown pleated wide-leg pants to corduroy jeans, these styles lined the city streets, often paired with preppy polos, button-up tops, barn jackets, or classic blazers. Their footwear choices included sleek loafers, open-toe kitten-heel sandals, and pointed, closed-toe slingbacks. The brown pant trend, however, is inclusive, embracing any other bottoms like leggings, drawstring pants, and suede styles. Regardless of the silhouette, the neutral hue adds warm undertones to an outfit, making it appear warmer, softer, and most importantly richer.
