Interpol Share Video for New Song “Something Changed”: Watch

When Interpol announced their new album The Other Side of Make-Believe, they shared a Van Alpert–directed video for the lead single “Toni.” It was the first of a two-part film, and the second part arrives today. Check out the video for their second single “Something Changed” below.

“In ‘Something Changed,’ part two of our short film with Van Alpert, reality and reverie converge and our two lead characters find themselves in a kind of dream state—being pursued inexorably by an ominous figure (played by myself),” Paul Banks said in a statement. “The lives of the three are intertwined in a nebula of fear, retribution, desire, and defiance.”

The Other Side of Make-Believe is out July 15 via Matador. It’s the band’s seventh studio album and the follow-up to 2018’s Marauder. The band will soon begin an extensive run of concerts, which includes their co-headlining tour with Spoon.
