Manchester United could sell David de Gea to up Paul Pogba’s salary

Manchester United could sell David de Gea to up Paul Pogba’s salary
Henrikh Mkhitaryan has expressed his belief that Paul Pogba is unfairly judged at Manchester United, and has urged people to criticise him for his bad performance, not his hairstyle.

Man Utd are preparing for the 2021-22 season. They are doing the sums at Man Utd ahead of next term.

Paul Pogba’s future is one of the issues the club need to sort out. His contract expires in 2022. That means that, whether he renews or not, this will be United’s final summer when they sell him and make money from his sale.

‘The Sun’ reports that United want to keep the midfielder. They paid Juventus 100 million for Pogba and they apparently want to get back a good amount of that money. They are worried this will be less likely to happen as the summer goes on.

Therefore, United want to renew Pogba. To continue at the club, the former Juve man is demanding 500,000 pounds a week, a crazy sum of money.

In order to pay him this amount of money, ‘The Sun’ says that United could let De Gea leave. That way, they would not have to pay him his salary and they could use it to satisfy Pogba.

De Gea is not at all happy with the situation. Dean Henderson is competing with him for the number one spot and that could lead to one of the two leaving the club this summer. In any case, one thing is clear: it will be a busy few months at Old Trafford.
