Netflix Reveals Trailer for Football Docuseries ‘Titletown High’

Netflix has debuted the first trailer for its latest football docuseries Titletown High, following the trials and tribulations of the Valdosta Wildcats High School Football Team.

The Wildcats Football team is located in a “Georgia town where football rules and winning is paramount,” and the cast of characters features controversial and respected head coach, Rush Propst, and his roster of aspiring athletes and staff. The camera follows the team on and off the field, diving deep into the lives of the cast of characters. Netflix promises viewers “a complex portrait of the most unique football culture in America” and “high-stakes sports action and relatable teenage drama.”

The trailer previews G-Eazy‘s unreleased song “Breakdown” from his upcoming album These Things Happen Too. In an interview with ET, the rapper expresses his excitement for the series: “I felt like this song perfectly captures the roller coaster of emotions in the show and the intense feelings brought on by the pressures of successes and failures in life. Hearing this song with their stories brought the meaning behind the lyrics to a whole new level. We’re hella excited to be a part of this series!”

Netflix’s eight-episode series Titletown High will be available on August 27.

Elsewhere on Netflix, Top Secret UFO Projects: Declassified docuseries is now streaming.
