The boutique automaker has officially unveiled the 2027 Fortress, a heavily modified, hyper-aggressive pickup truck hailed as the “ultimate tactical off-road super truck.” Built on the high-performance bones of the Ford F-150 Raptor, the Fortress transforms the already capable off-roader into an armored menace designed to terrorize the streets and conquer the wasteland.
Under the menacing, jagged exterior beats a familiar powerhouse. Customers can option the Fortress with either the standard Raptor’s twin-turbocharged 3.5-liter V-6, which pushes 450 horsepower, or upgrade to the monstrous Raptor R’s supercharged 5.2-liter V-8, cranking out a staggering 850 horsepower. The truck is built to handle extreme terrains at high speeds, retaining the Ford’s Fox Live Valve internal bypass shocks, adaptive damping, and long-travel suspension.
However, where the Fortress truly distinguishes itself is in its jaw-dropping suite of military-inspired upgrades. For those concerned about worst-case scenarios, the truck can be ordered with full ballistic armor, bullet-resistant glass, blast-resistant underbody protection, and reinforced suspension to manage the extra weight. The available defense options read like a spy movie gadget list: electrified door handles to deter carjackers, an evasive smokescreen button, blinding strobe lighting, a thermal night-vision system, and electromagnetic pulse (EMP) protection.
