Soon to Be Spotted in Aspen, Zermatt, and Courchevel: The Chic H&M Collab That’s Set to Dominate the Slopes in 2026

Soon to Be Spotted in Aspen, Zermatt, and Courchevel: The Chic H&M Collab That's Set to Dominate the Slopes in 2026

Ski season is nearly here, and whether you’re aiming to impress on the double blacks in Zermatt, indulge in the glamour of Courchevel, or take a ride on the Snowmass gondola in Aspen with your G7 X, one thing’s clear: it’s time to get your ski and après-ski gear ready. Fortunately, the timing couldn’t be better. H&M has just launched a collaboration with none other than Perfect Moment, and it’s bound to influence what insiders will wear.

For those unfamiliar, Perfect Moment is the Chamonix-born luxury ski and lifestyle brand known for its designs that blend chic retro styles with high performance. And it’s recognized for its signature star motif, called the North Star logo, which you’ve probably seen on a puffer jacket gliding down the mountain or scrolling through your Instagram feed.

Just before peak season, the brand has teamed up with H&M on a 28-piece capsule featuring down-filled outerwear, statement separates, plush knitwear, and winter accessories that are anything but “boring” and “basic.” Each piece pays homage to Perfect Moment’s technical skiwear heritage, while the mix-and-match styling makes the collection versatile enough for both the mountains and the city. Plus, it transitions seamlessly from the slopes to après-ski activities, creating a chic and ‘perfect moment.’

Although the collaboration launched today in select H&M stores and online, I had the chance to preview the collection early in person, trying on key pieces and predicting which will sell out first. From burgundy leather pants to star-printed thermals, keep scrolling to explore the collection and see which items deserve a spot in your already overstuffed suitcase.

To be honest, I’ve only been skiing three times in my life, but the H&M x Perfect Moment collection isn’t just for skiers—and this outfit proves it. The turtleneck sweater featuring the “snow” lettering and the iconic star motif is stylish enough to pair with straight-leg jeans or black trousers, but it looks especially rich with these burgundy leather pants, one of my favorites from the collection. The trousers feel lighter and more comfortable than your typical ski pants while still keeping that sporty look. The best part is that they feature zippers at the hem to show off your favorite boots.

Sizing tip: Size down in the pants. The sweater runs true to size

I’m a minimalist dresser most days, but when skiing, I prefer my outfits to be playful. These star-printed thermals perfectly fit that vibe. They not only give off that quintessential Perfect Moment look but also make me feel like I can ski the black runs, even though I definitely can not. The black-and-white colorway looks expensive, but it’s versatile, pairing well with my black Moon Boots and layering stylishly under the black puffer jacket.

This coat from the collection has a cute, boxy fit and a sleek funnel neck. Additionally, the back of the coat has a fun silver star, and the hood includes a zipper that can unzip from the head to the neck.

It’s not shorts season, but when I saw this burgundy knit shorts set in the campaign, I knew I had to try it. Not surprisingly, it’s even better in person. The pieces each fit very well and are more versatile than I expected. Yes, they look cute together, paired with scrunchy socks and slippers, but I’d also dress it up with sheer tights and kitten heels or loafers. I’d even style the sweater alone with dark-wash jeans or black leggings. The styling possibilities are truly endless.

As we’re seeing with cold-weather dressing so far, fashion people are relying on accessories like faux fur scarves and statement hats to do the work. I don’t expect this way of dressing to end when 2026 arrives, which means this balaclava arrived at just the right time. Unlike other balaclavas, this one is spacious, so it doesn’t suffocate the face or the head. It also features a thick, high-quality knit fabric that won’t pill or unravel. To my surprise, I actually liked the colored stripe pattern with hints of red and blue because it makes a statement without being overly bold.
