Trailer for Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves Premieres at Comic-Con: Watch
Grab your dice and sharpen your pencil, Hasbro and Paramount Pictures unveiled the first trailer for Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves during day one of Comic-Con. The film will charge into theaters on March 3rd, 2023. This is the second attempt at a DnD franchise, following the disastrous film released in 2000. It’s too early to tell whether the producers have earned an inspiration point or failed a wisdom save, but there’s no doubt they’ve assembled a kick-ass adventuring party led by Chris Pine, Rege-Jean Page, Jason Wong, Michelle Rodriguez, Justice Smith, and Sophia Lillis, not to mention Hugh Grant doing what Hugh Grant does best: play a villain. The follow-up to 2017’s ALL-AMERIKKKAN BADA$$, Joey first announced 2000 would be out on June 17th, just a few days after the 10th anniversary of his debut mixtape 1999. Unfortunately, getting the LP’s samples cleared proved to be a difficult process, forcing the rapper to push the record’s release back to July 22nd. Now, however, the 14-track project is officially available to stream. Shonka Dukureh, who portrayed Big Mama Thornton in Baz Luhrmann’s Elvis, was found dead in her Nashville apartment on Thursday, July 21st. She was 44 years old. According to the Metro Nashville Police Department (via Tennessean), Dukureh was found unresponsive by one of her children early Thursday morning who went to a neighbor’s apartment for help. Police do not suspect foul play and an autopsy is underway to determine the exact cause of death. Dukureh hailed from Charlotte, but resided in Nashville after graduating from Fisk University with a bachelor’s degree in theater. She also held a master’s degree in education from Trevecca Nazarene University.
