Former ICED EARTH Members MATT BARLOW And FREDDIE VIDALES Release New ASHES OF ARES Music Video ‘Emperors And Fools’
ASHES OF ARES, the band featuring former ICED EARTH members Matt Barlow and Freddie Vidales, has released the official music video for the title track of its third studio album, “Emperors And Fools”. Barlow was filmed by David Brodsky and Allison Woest for My Good Eye: Music Visuals; Vidales was filmed by Adon Fanion. The clip was produced by Woest (Barlow) and Fanion (Vidales). The “Emperors And Fools” LP, which was made available on January 21, 2022 via ROAR! Ex-W.A.S.P. Guitarist CHRIS HOLMES Releases Music Video For ‘I Am What I Am’
Former W.A.S.P. lead guitarist Chris Holmes has released the official music video for the song “I Am What I Am”. The track is taken from his latest studio album, “Unbearable Influences”, which came out last September. Holmes joined W.A.S.P. in 1982 and remained with the group until 1990. In 1996, the guitarist returned to W.A.S.P. and stayed with the band until 2001. Chris has not played with W.A.S.P. since. This past weekend, Holmes completed his fifth week of radiation therapy in his battle with cancer in throat and neck. This fall, Wynonna and Naomi Judd will regroup for their first tour as The Judds in over a decade. The ten-date outing — which they’re billing as “The Final Tour” — kicks off in Grand Rapids, Michigan on September 10th. The tour’s itinerary also includes dates in Toledo, Ohio; Sioux Falls, South Dakota; Ft. Worth, Texas; Biloxi, Mississippi; and Nashville, Tennessee. The numbers are in, and Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Unlimited Love is the best-selling rock album of 2022 — and beyond. With 97,500 equivalent album units earned, Chili Peppers’ 12th full-length debuted this week at the top of the Billboard 200 Albums chart. In doing so, Unlimited Love had the best selling week for any rock album in 16 months. The last rock album to move more copies was Paul McCartney’s McCartney III in January 2021.
