KITTIE Will ‘Definitely’ Play More Shows In 2023
KITTIE guitarist/vocalist Morgan Lander has confirmed to Anne Erickson of Audio Ink Radio that the band will play more shows beyond the already announced appearances at the Blue Ridge Rock Festival in September and at the When We Were Young festival in October. “That’s it for this year,” Morgan said. “But next year, we definitely will. The Brian Jonestown Massacre are hitting the road this year. Anton Newcombe and company announced a 2022 trek across North America, with help from special guests Mercury Rev. The 2022 tour will be the first big action from The Brian Jonestown Massacre since the 2019 release of their eponymous, eighteenth studio album. On this run, the famously turbulent Newcombe will be joined by Hallberg Daði Hallbergsson on bass, Hakon Adalsteinsson and Enrique Maymi on guitar, Uri Rennert on drums, Joel Gion on tambourine, and Ryan Carlson on keyboards. RAMMSTEIN will apparently drop a music video for a new song later this week. Earlier today, the German industrial metallers revealed that the track, which is believed to be titled “Zeit”, will make its online debut on Thursday, March 10 at 8:00 a.m. PST. Last November, RAMMSTEIN guitarist Richard Z. Kruspe confirmed that the band’s already completed new album will be released before the launch of the group’s next world tour.
