Netflix’s Marvel Series Are Moving to Disney+

Fans of Netflix’s Daredevil, Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, The Punisher, Iron Fist, and The Defenders will will no longer be able to stream on the platform after March 1st. Deadline reports that Netflix’s license for their slew of Marvel series is ending, reverting the rights over to Marvel’s parent company, Disney. Some viewers have anticipated this news since Netflix announced they’d be canceling all their Marvel series in 2019, coinciding with the launch of Disney+. While many of these shows contain more explicit content that doesn’t quite fit with the family-friendly branding of Disney+, the move seems like the best fit in order to keep all streamable Marvel content on the same platform. Fans have also speculated that Disney+ is looking to broaden their content beyond PG-rated fare in orde...

CANNIBAL CORPSE singer George “Corpsegrinder” Fisher has seemingly taken issue with Chris Barnes‘s recent comment about the state of the death metal genre, saying the scene is “just as great as it’s ever been.” Last month, Barnes — who exited CANNIBAL CORPSE in 1995, one year after the release of the band’s “The Bleeding” album — took to his Twitter to say that he saw a January 19 Knotfest “A Death Metal Round Table” hosted by Staypuft Mallow and featuring appearances by Fisher, Trevor Strnad from THE BLACK DAHLIA MURDER, Chase Mason from GATECREEPER and Alex Jones from UNDEATH.”I just watched a ‘death metal’ podcast on YouTube that was done about a week ago with the ‘top’ death metal vocalists,...

Former DEATH and MASSACRE guitarist Rick Rozz joined INCANTATION on stage on February 5 at the Haven Lounge in Winter Park, Florida to perform a cover of the DEATH classic “Evil Dead”. Fan-filmed video footage of his appearance can be seen below. “Evil Dead” was originally written and recorded by the pre-DEATH band MANTAS, which featured Rozz alongside Chuck Schuldiner (guitar, vocals) and Kam Lee (vocals, drums). A re-recorded version of the song was included on DEATH‘s debut album, 1987’s “Scream Bloody Gore”, which didn’t feature Rozz. The demo version of “Evil Dead” was included on the MANTAS collection “Death By Metal”, which was made available in 2012 via Relapse. The collection contained extensive liner no...

In 2022, the world needs heroes, and DC Films is here to deliver. For the first time since it was launched nine years ago, the DC Extended Universe will see four different tentpole films released this year. In a new ad created for Super Bowl weekend, DC is showing off all these projects with new looks at The Flash, Black Adam, Aquaman and the Lost Kingdom, and The Batman. While there’s not a ton of fresh footage from The Batman (why would there be, with numerous trailers already released?), we do get a few new teases from The Flash. Mostly, it’s a closer look at Barry Allen’s (Ezra Miller) new suit, which includes some handy eye protection. The biggest reveals come from the Black Adam footage. We get to see far more of star Dwayne Johnson in action than s...

The Belgian-born British army officer survived several plane crashes, lost an eye and a hand, sustained eleven grievous injuries: He fully dedicated his life to military services. Whenever there was a war, Adrian Carton De Wiart was there. “Frankly, I had enjoyed the war”, he said, peacefully passing away at the age of 83 in 1963. With their new single “The Unkillable Soldier”, Swedish metallers SABATON pay tribute to this unique character of war history — in form of an epic anthem full of fantastic hooks, breathtaking guitar parts and once again a catchy tune. Ex-MEGADETH Guitarist CHRIS POLAND On DAVID ELLEFSON’s Sex Video Scandal: ‘I Thought He Handled It Really Well’

In a new interview with Rocking With Jam Man, former MEGADETH guitarist Chris Poland was asked if he thinks “it’s fair” that David Ellefson was fired from the band last year following a sex video scandal. He responded (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): “Not really, no. I don’t. Considering if it was, like, the ’80s, they would have applauded Dave for what happened. It’s the cancel culture thing. But you know what? Dave‘s [Mustaine, MEGADETH leader] a, he’s a Christian now. Maybe he just didn’t feel right about it. I don’t know. Dave Ellefson‘s a Christian too. It’s kind of, like, you’re supposed to forgive and forget, and I guess he just couldn’t. But that’s his business.” Chris added: ...
