Murderville Showrunner Wants Dave Grohl for a Potential Season 2

The upcoming Netflix series Murderville stakes an early claim to the title of “wildest comedy of 2022,” bringing together a number of elements, including cop parody, improv comedy, and famous people being pranked, to deliver something remarkably unique. And while the first season has yet to premiere, if you ask showrunner Krister Johnson who he might want to involve in Season 2, he has an answer: Dave Grohl of the Foo Fighters. Each episode of Murderville features a trainee detective (played by a celebrity) being paired up with senior detective Terry Seattle (Will Arnett) to solve a crime — the catch being that while everyone else involved has a script, the “trainee” has no idea what’s going on, and has to improv their way through each scene before ultimately coming up with the answer to w...

Julia Roberts Blows the Whistle on Watergate in Trailer for Gaslit: Watch

Starz’s upcoming limited series Gaslit offers a compelling look into the little-known Watergate story of Martha Mitchell (Julia Roberts), who spoke up to the media about the break-in despite being the wife of US Attorney General John Mitchell (Sean Penn). In advance of its April 24th premiere, the cable network has shared a trailer of the star-studded adaptation of the Slow Burn podcast. Watch it below. The preview sees Roberts stepping fully into her role as an outspoken socialite. “I’m a Southern woman, we speak our minds,” she jokingly tells a talk show host. “We never stop talking.” However, the tone quickly turns dark when G. Gordon Liddy (Shea Whigham) speaks about Martha “becoming too much of a liability” after she finds out the truth about the Watergate scandal. In response, she’s ...

Rudy Giuliani’s Appearance on The Masked Singer Prompts Judges to Walk Out

If watching D-List celebrities sing pop songs under the guise of elaborate costumes wasn’t enough to make you rebuke network television altogether, consider the fact that Rudy Giuliani performed on The Masked Singer as if he didn’t attempt to upend our democracy a year ago. While FOX was apparently okay with the casting, judges Ken Jeong and Robin Thicke appeared reasonably disgusted: According Deadline, they left the set in protest when Giuliani’s identity was revealed. Giuliani was unmasked as an exiting costumed contestant during last week’s taping of The Masked Singer. Upon the reveal, longtime judges Jeong and Thicke exited the stage, while fellow judges Jenny McCarthy and Nicole Scherzinger remained on stage and joked with Giuliani. Maybe they forgot about his last performance — you ...

BRUCE DICKINSON Reveals His Favorite Female Vocalist Of All Time

During the question-and-answer portion of his January 27 spoken-word show at Riffe Center Theatre Complex in Columbus, Ohio, IRON MAIDEN singer Bruce Dickinson was asked to name his favorite female vocalist of all time. He said: “The one that rolls off the tip of my tongue is Ann Wilson from HEART. Although she didn’t have the kind of — not charisma; notoriety or whatever of somebody like a Janis Joplin, an equally great voice and things like that, she’s just a complete all-arounder. The most amazing voice… A beautiful folk singer, fantastic metal singer with a lovely edge to it, flawless technique. Honestly, not worthy. Amazing.” Dickinson is considered one of the world’s most storied musicians. Aside from decades spent delivering high-octane performances wit...

Ex-TYPE O NEGATIVE Drummer On Hypothetical PETER STEELE Tribute Concert: ‘I’d Want A Female Vocalist’

In a new interview with the “Loaded Radio” podcast, former TYPE O NEGATIVE drummer Johnny Kelly was asked if there has ever been any talk of staging a concert in honor of the band’s late frontman Peter Steele. He responded (as transcribed by BLABBERMOUTH.NET): “Coffee talk. There was never any serious consideration, like, should we do something? Is there even a point of doing it? Or also, is it just a blatant cash grab? So all these things go through your head. “People celebrate [Peter] all the time,” he continued. “They do it daily. I see it online all the time and the impact that he had. “Maybe somewhere down the road there may be something that’s… I don’t know. But I know that for me, it would have to include Kenny [Hickey, gui...
