Gen V Takes The Boys’ Spinoff Series to School in Bloody First Trailer: Watch

The first trailer for The Boys’ college spinoff Gen V has arrived, and when it comes to the subversive superhero series’ requisite bloodlust, the new installment seems set to pass with flying colors. The clip opens with an introduction to Godolkin University, a self-described “safe space” for super-powered teenagers “to thrive.” The curriculum, however, appears to have a much more punitive approach to the classic pass-or-fail format with numerous shots revealing blood-soaked students, disemboweled security forces, and deadly clashes amongst classmates. At one point, Jaz Sinclair, as the show’s lead Marie Moreau, brushes off the unusual college trials, saying, “I’m superhuman, right? We’re made of steel.” Despite her heroic confidence, every moment surrounding the statement suggests otherwi...

Adam Sandler is a beloved comedian now, but when he first broke out of the Saturday Night Live bubble with Billy Madison, the first film he ever co-wrote, he didn’t receive a particularly warm welcome from critics. Since then, the actor says he hasn’t read a review for any one of his films. “When I was 17 and I got into this, I didn’t think about critics … I didn’t even realize that stuff was coming. I just thought you made movies, people go see it,” Sandler said in a recent conversation for Netflix (via EW). “When Billy Madison came out, me and my friend who wrote it, we were just like, ‘Oh yeah, they’re going to write about this in New York!’ We grew up reading the papers, we were going to NYU. Taylor Swift Fans Sue Ticketmaster Over “The Eras Tour” Pre-Sale

Taylor Swift’s “The Eras Tour” broke Ticketmaster when its pre-sale launched, so much so that the general sale never even occurred. Now, scorned Swifties are suing the ticketing platform over its alleged mismanagement of the sale. As TMZ reports, a group of Swift fans initiated the lawsuit in Los Angeles County, where Ticketmaster’s parent company Live Nation is based. Alleging fraud, price fixing, and antitrust violations, the suit accuses Ticketmaster of, at best, being ill-prepared for the demand “The Eras Tour” would spur, and at worst, “intentional deception.” For instance, representatives for the company said that they had only planned for 1.5 million fans to buy tickets during the November 15th pre-sale, with a waitlist designed for an additional two million prospective buyers. Pantera Play First Concert in 21 Years: Video and Setlist

Pantera — at the least the new incarnation of the legendary band — played their first show in 21 years on Friday night (December 2nd). The long-dormant act performed a 15-song set at the Hell & Heaven festival outside Mexico City. Classic members Philip Anselmo (vocals) and Rex Brown (bass) are joined by guitarist Zakk Wylde (Ozzy Osbourne, Black Label Society) and drummer Charlie Benante (Anthrax) in the band’s revamped lineup. The latter two have the daunting task of filling in for late brothers Dimebag Darrell and Vinnie Paul, respectively. Pantera kicked off the set with “A New Level” and then launched into “Mouth for War,” both from 1992’s Vulgar Display of Power. After that, it was four straight songs from 1994’s Far Beyond Driven (“Strength Beyond Strength,” “Becoming,” “I’m Bro...
