FAILURE Announces Spring/Summer 2022 North American Tour
FAILURE has announced a North American tour in support of its recently released sixth album, “Wild Type Droid”. Ken Andrews said of the live outings: “I have not been this excited to bring new material to the stage since ‘Fantastic Planet’. Prepare yourself for an out-of-body experience.” The dates, which kick off on June 2 in San Diego and run for five weeks before culminating in a hometown show at Los Angeles’s Regent Theatre, are on sale today at 10 a.m. local time. LIFE OF AGONY Documentary ‘The Sound Of Scars’ Lands At CINEDIGM For North America
According to Deadline, Cinedigm has picked up North American rights on “The Sound Of Scars”. The film is described as a deeply personal documentary which chronicles Brooklyn alt/metal band LIFE OF AGONY‘s rise, fall and rebirth while confronting domestic violence, substance abuse and addiction, depression and lead singer Mina Caputo‘s gender transition. A spring release is expected. Jawbreaker Expand ‘Dear You’ Anniversary Tour with More Dates, The Lemonheads
Jawbreaker have expanded their upcoming tour celebrating the 25th anniversary of their fourth and final album, Dear You. The emo punk luminaries have scheduled additional shows in Portland, Los Angeles, Chicago, and New York City, while announcing new dates in Minneapolis, Detroit, Philadelphia, Boston, the Washington, DC metro area, and Nashville. Along with the expanding the tour’s itinerary, Jawbreaker have also recruited a few more acts to join them on the road. Slim Jxmmi, one-half of the chart-topping duo Rae Sremmurd, has been arrested for battery after allegedly attacking his girlfriend and mother of his child. According to the Miami Dade Department of Corrections, Slim Jxmmi, who was born Aaquil Brown, was arrested Tuesday morning and taken to Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center in Miami.
