Kid Rock Seems to Really Want to Have Sex with Fauci on New Song with “Let’s Go Brandon” Chorus

Kid Rock seems to really want to make love to Dr. Anthony Fauci, judging by his less-than-polite vocabulary on “We the People,” a new anti-science track with a “Let’s go Brandon” chorus. This jingoistic circle-jerk gives rightwing talking points a vigorous rubdown, though it’s more concerned with ‘lol memes’ than making the song listenable. In addition to his amorous offer to Fauci, Kid Rock attempts to clown the scientific community with, “‘Wear your mask, take your pills’/ Now a whole generation’s mentally ill,” though it’s unclear what these pills are — perhaps he got it confused with horse paste? This isn’t the only time he approaches facts like a terrier might approach a fire hydrant. He rap-sings, “Inflation’s up, like the minimum wage,” the latter of which would be welcome news to m...

HBO Renews The Righteous Gemstones for Season 3

Hallelujah, it’s the third coming of The Righteous Gemstones! Just weeks after the premiere of Season 2 of Danny McBride’s evangelist comedy, HBO has renewed the series for Season 3. “After a season of literal fire and brimstone, blood, sand, and rollerblading, who wouldn’t come back for more?” Amy Gravitt, Executive Vice President of HBO Programming, said in a statement. “The Gemstone family makes us laugh like nobody else.” As HBO puts it, Season 2 saw the Gemstones — McBride as Jesse, John Goodman as Eli, Adam DeVine as Kelvin, and Edi Patterson as Judy — a famous televangelist family who tend to dabble in all things unholy — “threatened by outsiders from both the past and present who wish to destroy their empire.” Season 1 regulars Walton Goggins and Jennifer Nettles round out the...

The plot is being kept under wraps, but it’s based on an original idea from Krasinski about a child’s journey to rediscover their imagination. Jack Black Pays Homage to Meat Loaf: “Thank You for Rocking So Hard”

Jack Black has paid his respects to the late Meat Loaf, thanking the legendary singer for “rocking so hard.” It’s not hard to see how Black was inspired by Meat Loaf, considering the comedic actor’s theatrical and bombastic approach to rock music as part of the duo Tenacious D. In his tribute, Black cited the impact Meat Loaf made on him at a young age, and expressed gratitude to the rock icon for appearing in the movie Tenacious D in the Pick of Destiny. “I think I was 9 years old when my big sister took me to see The Rocky Horror Picture Show,” wrote Black on Instagram. “Meat Loaf rocked the hell out of that movie. 25 years later I begged him to play my father in my band’s movie The Pick of Destiny and by god he rocked the hell out of that one too. Thank you Meat for rocking so hard!!! M...

“Pig”: Janet Jackson Says Michael Jackson Bullied Her About Her Weight

Janet Jackson has revealed that her brother Michael used to bully her about her weight beginning when she was 11 and he was an adult. Via The Daily Mail, she spoke about this ugly period in the new documentary Janet, which airs on January 28th and 29th on Lifetime and A&E. She said her weight began to change after she was cast in Good Times at the age of 11. “I’m an emotional eater, so when I get stressed or something is really bothering me, it comforts me,” she recalled. “I did Good Times and that’s the beginning of having weight issues and the way I looked at myself.” Her stresses were exacerbated by her famous older brother, who would have been about 19 years old at the time. As her weight fluctuated, “There were times when Mike used to tease me an...

GEOFF TATE Says QUEENSRŸCHE’s Classic Lineup Has Been Offered ‘Obscene’ Amount Of Money To Reunite For Tour

Geoff Tate says that he doesn’t expect a reunion of QUEENSRŸCHE‘s classic lineup to ever materialize. In April 2014, Tate and QUEENSRŸCHE announced that a settlement had been reached after a nearly two-year legal battle where the singer sued over the rights to the QUEENSRŸCHE name after being fired in 2012. Fellow original QUEENSRŸCHE members Michael Wilton (guitar), Scott Rockenfield (drums) and Eddie Jackson (bass) responded with a countersuit. The settlement included an agreement that Wilton, Rockenfield and Jackson would continue as QUEENSRŸCHE, while Tate would have the sole right to perform the albums “Operation: Mindcrime” and “Operation: Mindcrime II” in their entirety live. During a January 24 appearance on SiriusXM‘s “Trunk Nation W...

KID ROCK Slams JOE BIDEN And ANTHONY FAUCI, Calls For ‘Love And Unity’ In New Song ‘We The People’

Kid Rock has released three new songs: “We The People“, “The Last Dance” and “Rockin'”. The most controversial track of the three, “We The People” features the chorus of “Let’s go, Brandon,” conservative code for “Fuck Joe Biden” (born when a NASCAR reporter misheard a crowd, reporting that they chanted in support of racer Brandon Brown when they were actually chanting expletives toward the U.S. president), and also takes aim at the mainstream media, CNN, TMZ, Twitter and Facebook, as well as mask mandates and COVID-19 restrictions. “We the people in all we do reserve the right to scream, ‘Fuck you!” he shouts in the song. “Wear your mask. Take your pills. Now a whole generation is mentall...

SEBASTIAN BACH And JAMEY JASTA React To NEIL YOUNG’s Threat To Pull Music From SPOTIFY Over JOE ROGAN’s COVID ‘Disinformation’

Sebastian Bach (SKID ROW) and Jamey Jasta (HATEBREED) have weighed in on Neil Young‘s decision to issue a letter to his management team demanding Spotify to remove his music from the streaming service over vaccine misinformation on Joe Rogan‘s podcast. In a now-deleted post on his web site, Young said the music and podcast platform is “spreading fake information about vaccines — potentially causing death to those who believe this disinformation spread by them.” “I want you to let Spotify know immediately TODAY that I want all my music off their platform,” he wrote, according to Rolling Stone. “They can have Rogan or Young. Not both.” “With an estimated 11 million listeners per episode, JRE [‘The Joe Rogan Experience’] which ...

Old Crow Medicine Show Share Origins of Raucous New Single “Bombs Away”: Exclusive

Our recurring new music feature Origins gives musicians a place to share exclusive insights into their newest release. Today, Ketch Secor of Old Crow Medicine Show breaks down the bluegrass ensemble’s latest single, “Bombs Away.” Old Crow Medicine Show’s new album, Paint This Town, is due out April 22nd via ATO. Today, the Americana band are previewing the LP with the raucous single “Bombs Away.” “Bombs Away” is, first and foremost, a song about divorce, as frontman Ketch Secor tells Consequence. But that doesn’t mean the barnburning fiddle number — and Paint This Town as a whole — is anything to cry over. The track, which Secor wrote shortly after his own marriage dissolved, is brimming with the euphoria of new beginnings, a tongue-in-cheek tale of throwing c...
