Godzilla TV Series Coming to Apple TV+
The MonsterVerse is expanding to the small screen. Fresh off the franchise’s 2021 film Godzilla vs. Kong, Apple TV+ has ordered a live-action series centered on Godzilla and the Titans. Per Deadline, the as-yet-untitled series will be produced by Legendary Television and executive produced by Matt Fraction and showrunner Chris Black. As for its plot, the show offers a human twist on the monster saga, following the journey of a family living among the Titans. Throughout the series, they’ll uncover a buried family history linking them to the government agency Monarch. Adele Postpones Las Vegas Residency Due to COVID Delays: “My Show Ain’t Ready”
Adele was set to begin her Las Vegas residency this weekend, but in a tearful video posted to Instagram today (January 20th), the singer announced she was postponing the shows due to various COVID-19 delays. “I’m so sorry, but my show ain’t ready,” Adele said in the video. “We’ve been absolutely destroyed by delivery delays and COVID. Half my crew, half my team are down with COVID, they still are, and it’s been impossible to finish the show. And I can’t give you what I have right now. The members of HALESTORM escaped unharmed after their tour bus caught early Thursday morning (January 20). METALLICA Gifts L.A. Street Performer New Set Of Drums After His Were Stolen
METALLICA has stepped in to help a Los Angeles street performer after his drum kit was stolen. Sheriff Drumman, who is famous for playing drums from the bed of his truck, had both his truck and drums stolen from in front of his Hawthorne apartment in December. Although he eventually he got his truck back, the drums were gone. According to the Los Angeles Times, Sheriff spent nearly six years custom-building the four-wheeled drum set, hand-crafting the metal that made the setup possible, cutting, shaping and bending each slab before adding the details and the bright “#SheriffDrumman” sign above the vehicle. Back in November, Paramount+ announced a remake of Fatal Attraction that’ll build the 1987 psychosexual thriller into an episodic series. Today, the studio announced that they’ve found their Dan Gallagher in Joshua Jackson. M&M’s famous talking candies are getting a makeover. Mars, Incorporated announced today that its gang of mascots have headed into the new year with a redesign focusing on “inclusion and belonging.” Both their personalities and looks are getting tweaked, too. According to a statement, the changes include the red M&M “ton[ing] down the bossiness,” while the green M&M has traded in her much-debated white go-go boots for a set of sneakers and a newfound focus on confidence.
