Kanye West stans will have the opportunity to catch part of the documentary jeen-yuhs in theaters ahead of its arrival on Netflix. Today, the streamer revealed fans will be able to attend a nationwide preview of the project titled Act 1 (Vision) on February 10th for one day only. Netflix also shared a new teaser trailer that opens with Chicago rapper Rhymefest asking Kanye, “Who are you to call yourself a genius?” Watch it below. Real estate broker Ryan Serhant has shared a 17-minute video tour of Gene Simmons‘s nearly 11,000-square-foot estate in Henderson, Nevada’s Ascaya luxury community which is currently on the market for $13.5 million. Vocalist/bassist Burke Shelley of legendary Welsh rockers BUDGIE has died at the age of 71. The news of his passing was shared earlier today by his daughter Ela. She wrote on Facebook: “It is with great sadness that I announce the death of my father, John Burke Shelley. He passed away this evening in his sleep at Heath Hospital in Cardiff, his birth town. He was 71 years old. James Mtume, the multi-instrumentalist who performed with Miles Davis before founding the R&B group Mtume, has died at the age of 76, Pitchfork reports. No cause of death has been revealed. The son of jazz saxophonist Jimmy Heath, James Mtume (born James Heath Jr.) grew up in a musical environment. He was raised by his mother, Bertha Forman, and pianist James “Hen Gates” Forman, who played in Charlie Parker’s band and introduced Mtume to the likes of Dizzy Gillespie, Thelonious Monk, and Sonny Rollins. In 1969, Mtume took on percussion on his uncle Albert “Tootie” Heath’s album Kawaida, which also featured Jimmy Heath, Don Cherry, and Herbie Hancock.
