Oh, you thought you had a chance with Pete Davidson now that he’s single? We hate to be the bearers of bad news, but there’s yet another richer, older, and much more famous woman who might also have her eyes set on the ex-SNL star: Martha Stewart. The television personality revealed on a recent episode of The Drew Barrymore Show that she finds Davidson “sorta cute,” and would happily go on a date with him despite being over 50 years his senior. The topic came up during a game of “Red Flag, Yellow Flag, Green Flag,” in which host Barrymore got a sense of Stewart’s ideal partner with a set of hypothetical scenarios. For the player, waving a red flag means that scenario is a dealbreaker, while a green flag indicates full speed ahead: “Your date has as many tattoos as Pete David...

Welcome to Fan Chant, a weekly column for K-pop fans, stans, and newbies alike. Each week, I’ll be rolling out interviews, lists, and all kinds of content to keep you in the loop on the latest and greatest from our friends in Seoul and beyond. Also, make sure to subscribe to my companion newsletter! As anyone who has even glanced at this column (or most of my writing) before can confirm, I absolutely love to love things. To that same end, I also adore people who love pop culture, film, fandom, and niche interests with all their heart. I’m obsessed with being part of the discussion around a cultural phenomenon, even if the product itself isn’t necessarily something I’m passionate about — I used to read Game of Thrones recaps regularly even though the show wasn’t my vibe, finding myself stan...
Kanye West was reportedly escorted out of Skechers’ corporate headquarters in Manhattan Beach on Wednesday after making an unannounced visit with a camera crew. In a statement to TMZ, a Skechers spokesperson said West “arrived unannounced and without invitation at one of Skechers’ corporate offices in Los Angeles. Considering Ye was engaged in unauthorized filming, two Skechers executives escorted him and his party from the building after a brief conversation.” It’s not entirely clear what West was hoping to achieve with his visit, but logic would suggest he sought to meet with executives about a potential partnership between Skechers and his Yeezy clothing and sneaker brand. Earlier this week, both adidas and Gap ended their respective relationships with West in light of the rapper’s rece...

The National’s Aaron Dessner, who produced the track, also joined in on the performance. On November 11th, 2011, MGMT performed an original 45-minute piece at the Solomon R. Guggenheim Museum in New York to mark the opening of an exhibit celebrating the artist Maurizio Cattelan. Now, the band will finally release that performance as a live album, appropriately titled 11-11-11. The project, of course, arrives on 11-11-22. MGMT’s Andrew VanWyngarden and Ben Goldwasser were commissioned to write music in response to the 2011 Cattelan display, which suspended 130 pieces of art from varying heights. “We’re creating a musical experience that works for the building and for the construction and presentation of the Cattelan exhibit,” the duo said at the time. “It’s an art exhibit done in a completely original way, so it deserves music which is completely original.” After debu...

Founding Mötley Crüe guitarist Mick Mars has retired from touring, according to an official statement released on Wednesday evening (October 26th). The veteran musician will still remain an official member of the band, but will no longer hit the road with the legendary rock act due to his ongoing battle with Ankylosing Spondylitis (A.S.). After a two-year delay due to the pandemic, Mötley Crüe finally embarked on their co-headlining “Stadium Tour” with Def Leppard this past summer. The outing was an enormous success, grossing $173.5 million in ticket sales. Now, it appears that the tour marked Mars’ last with the Crüe. The full statement, issued by Mars’ representative to Variety, reads as follows: “Mick Mars, co-founder and lead guitarist of the heavy metal band Mötley Crüe for the past 4...
Kanye West is no longer an admirable figure as he continues to spout antisemitic rhetoric, which is why Madame Tussauds removed his wax figure from its London location. As The Hollywood Reporter notes, a spokesperson for the wax museum announced Wednesday that “Ye’s figure has been retired from the attraction floor to our archive. Each profile earns their place at Madame Tussauds London and we listen to our guests and the public on who they expect to see at the attraction.” Kanye has been dropped by a number of business partners (and even his lawyer) since he began a serious slide into fascism this month. After wearing a “White Lives Matter” shirt with Candace Owens at Paris Fashion Week and tweeting that he was going to go “death con 3 On JEWISH PEOPLE,” the rapper made unsavory comm...
