Daniel Craig’s Benoit Blanc Is “Obviously” Queer, Says Rian Johnson

Benoit Blanc, Daniel Craig’s sleuth in Knives Out and its sequel, Glass Onion, is “obviously” queer, writer and director Rian Johnson confirmed during a press conference at the London Film Festival. Via Deadline, Glass Onion shows Blanc cohabitating with another man. When asked during a Q&A if that meant Blanc was queer, Johnson responded, “Yes, he obviously is.” Blanc’s partner is reportedly played by a well-known British actor whose cameo is being kept a secret. But Johnson did say, “There’s nobody in the world I can imagine in bringing me more joy for Benoit Blanc to be with.” Advertisement Related Video As for Craig, he endorsed his character’s Kentucky-fried pride, saying, “No spoilers: who wouldn’t want to live with that person?” Earlier this month, ...

Yuna encased the gum in Lucite and created 15 necklaces that feature white diamonds and a charm engraved with the 5 Gum logo and Yuna’s signature stamp, all on a 14K white gold chain. Elon Musk Thinks Grimes Might Be a Simulation That “Exists in His Cerebral Cortex”

Elon Musk thought his ex-partner Grimes might be a simulation that “exists in his cerebral cortex.” She revealed the theory to journalist Devin Gordon, who shared it on the new BBC docuseries, The Elon Musk Show. “She [Grimes] told me repeatedly that Musk has this theory of her that she’s not real,” Gordon told the BBC (via Cosmopolitan). “That she’s a simulation who was created by him and exists in his cerebral cortex as sort of the perfect companion to him. Which sounds a little crazy and maybe even a little creepy, except, she agrees with it. She said she does feel like this simulation which was perfectly created for him.” He added, “Her interests are all the same as his and her music is very technologically oriented,” explaining that they “both made a similar nerdy joke about a sc...

James Corden Banned from New York Restaurant for “Extremely Nasty” Behavior

James Corden has played host regularly on The Late Late Show for years, but it seems like he has a lot to learn about being a good guest before exiting the program in 2023. On Monday, the outgoing late-night television anchor was publicly banned from the upscale New York restaurant Balthazar by owner Keith McNally, who labeled Corden “the most abusive customer” via Instagram. The acclaimed restaurateur began the post by calling Corden “a tiny Cretin of a man” and shared two manager reports of alleged instances of his poor treatment of restaurant staff. The first alleges Corden was “extremely nasty” to a restaurant manager and told them “‘Get us another round of drinks this second. And also take care of all of our drinks so far. This way I write any nasty reviews in yelp [sic] or anything l...

Kacey Musgraves Brings Out Beto O’Rourke for a Beer During ACL Performance: Watch

Kacey Musgraves gave cheers to Beto O’Rourke’s ongoing Texas gubernatorial campaign during her headlining set at weekend two of Austin City Limits 2022 with a beer delivered by the candidate himself. According to the Houston Chronicle, Musgraves queued the Democratic candidate mid-set by saying, “Honestly, I could use a drink. Is there any beer or anything out there?” Beto slowly approached from side-stage, presented a beer to the singer, and stood patiently as she took a few sips. He then waved to the audience, took the bottle, and returned backstage before the crowd had worked up an audible chant of his name. “That really hit the spot,” said Musgraves in an apparent endorsement for the candidate after he left the stage. Apple’s New Car Crash Detection Feature Is Mistaking Rollercoaster Rides for Emergencies

Apple’s technology continues to get more advanced with every new iPhone, but one new feature may not have worked out all its kinks. The brand new iPhone 14 and Apple Watch come with a car crash detection feature that alerts first responders and one’s emergency contacts if they get in an accident, but as The Wall Street Journal reports, some phones have sounded the alarm after detecting the speeds and drops of a harmless rollercoaster. Apple uses sensor data to determine if a crash occurred, but the experiences of folks who have (inadvertently) used the new feature suggest that any sudden drop could trigger the emergency call. One woman with a brand new iPhone 14 Pro attended Kings Island amusement park near Cincinnati this September, and after riding the Mystic Timbers rollercoaster —...

Greta Van Fleet Singer Josh Kiszka Ruptures Eardrum During Concert

Greta Van Fleet singer Josh Kiszka ruptured his eardrum during a concert in Bangor, Maine, on October 8th, forcing the band to postpone three upcoming shows. The band made the announcement on Monday (October 17th), letting fans know that shows scheduled for Raleigh, North Carolina (October 18th); Greenville, South Carolina (October 19th); and Jacksonville, Florida (October 21st) would be rescheduled for later dates. As it was, Greta Van Fleet had a nine-day break built into their schedule after the Bangor show, which likely prevented them from postponing more concerts. As Kiszka explained in an Instagram post, the postponements will allow him to heal without causing further damage and affecting more shows: “To our fans in Raleigh, Greenville and Jacksonville, It’s with a heavy heart that w...
